The sooner Dolan and Hedges leave the better. I’m usually concerned with our continuous ambition to downgrade under this lot, but not with those two. I’ve never seen two attacking players so inefficient at either scoring or providing goals over such a prolonged period of time. Their records, particularly Hedges, are shameful.

I thought Gestede was a bit of a tosser as a player. Nothings changed my mind on that front now that he’s working for that lot and given us nothing but b*llocks in the early days.

I still think I must have been seeing things when he had that brilliant run a couple of seasons ago. He was like a man possessed against Huddersfield, quite literally ran the game single handed. Ever since that purple patch he’s pretty much been back to his terrible self.

As J*B says, it doesn’t take much to placate the Rovers fan base. We could bring in nonody else between now and the end of the window and even pull off another O’Brien / McGuire screw-up and still the majority would just shrug their shoulders and come up with b*llocks like, ‘we’re keeping our powder dry’ or ‘they can’t fund us’ etc etc. It’s infuriating. I can only imagine how JE is feeling.
