  1. The revert to type that many of us feared. His stubbornness with selection and personnel is a massive cause for concern - did he even do any homework on Plymouth and their dangermen? Perhaps harsh to single out players but I genuinely think we need to move Hyam and Dolan on asap - both flatter to deceive to put it lightly and to me their hearts clearly aren’t into it.
  2. For the hundredth window in a row. Why ONE manager / DoF / whoever hasn’t felt the need to address it for years is just plain infuriating.
  3. I/we really need to start betting on the obvious ex-Dingle players scoring against us. Happens every single time. Why the hell hasn’t Eustace set us up with a different defensive approach / personnel given the obvious mauling their two wide lads were gonna give us. So bloody obvious yet he decided to give Carter and Pickering another crack at the whip.
  4. Eight match ban confirmed by the FA. I mean, better than their hoped 8, but baffling as to why it is less than the 10 Suarez got. Nice to see their fans crying on social media at least.
  5. Even Palace fans have admitted he's not been up to the ridiculous standards he set last season - seems he's been carrying a niggle for quite a while. If he can get back to those levels then surely Carsley won't have a choice but to include him.
  6. PNE are hoping Milutin Osmajić will only receive a four-game ban [@reluctantnicko] This would be ONE game more than Beck got. I would say the nerve on them, but with the FA they’ve probably got a chance. The book needs throwing at the dirty f*cker.
  7. Trust me, I get that Dolan was beyond brain dead but there was still a hell of a lot that needed to happen for it to end up in the back of our net. Firstly, Hyam’s clearance/pass was as soft as shit. He should have been whacking that into the stands and taking the man with him. Then once it does make it’s way to Wright we still have several opportunities to prevent his way to goal and get the shot off - it was hardly like he was jinking through us like a young Messi. Such an infuriating goal to concede which meant it was effectively game over from that point on.
  8. We still have zero pace despite having about 57 windows to correct it since we last had some. How something so obvious never ever gets addressed is extremely frustrating.
  9. Bristol City esque with how we’ve done our utmost to lose this from the first whistle to the last. What the f*ck is it with us and these ‘performances’ where we look like we’ve been on the piss the previous night? The inconsistency is so infuriating.
  10. Also fantastic to see us true to form again this year in helping out sides who cannot buy a result. We will never ever change in that regard it would seem. I was hoping we’d grew some b*llocks over the summer, but I guess not.
  11. Forever the Rovers way under this lot - it’s why I can never allow myself to get carried away by a few decent results.
  12. Same shit different day: Brittain not tight enough to his man. Hyam and Carter asleep. Pears absolute dog shit.
  13. Pretty much how I feel. I really don’t want anyone to be fooled by our owners - they are committing absolute peanuts for transfers and wages compared to what we’ve brought in. We should be thankful for zero. I still feel we’re lacking one real pacey option out wide. If the Brighton lad doesn’t hit the heights or if he gets injured, we’re screwed. We’ve got such a slow squad.
  14. I referenced Millwall earlier - the minute we get competition we’re buggered. Hopefully we have a plan B because one speedster in the whole squad is not enough.
  15. Hopefully we're not throwing all our eggs in this basket given they are just down the road from Fulham:
  16. Ornstein has him for breakfast these days. But he's still pretty good!
  17. It’s baffling that clubs continue to take chances on him given his constant injury issues and lack of motivation. Good work if you can get it.
  18. In the words of King Kev, "I would luv it" if they didn't go up.
  19. Exactly that. An injury to this Brighton lad (should he come) then we're back to having a team full of players who run through treacle. A couple of pacey options and we'll be a real threat with the likes of Gueye, Ohashi and Cantwell in and around them.
  20. Why the feck are our announcements always so late in the day?!
  21. The worst part of it for me is that there will still be countless fans defending them should we bring in just loans / a couple for peanuts (More than likely). ‘We can’t compete with X & Y’…‘it’s not a good market right now, January will be different’…‘we’ve had a good start to the season, get behind the lads FFS’.
  22. Dom Hyam away to Bristol City would like to say hello.
  23. Precisely. We could have got pumped 5-0 and the result at the end of the window would still be the same (ie bugger all spent).
  24. He’s such an enigma. I know from speaking to a friend of his that he’s very much a confidence player but how the f*ck is that the same guy who single handedly took on Huddersfield that time?! He was like Gerrard that day.
