  1. Well that was fucking coming. We’ve looked absolutely dreadful since midway through the first half.
  2. To Derby county. Making them look like Barcelona on the ball.
  3. How many more times will Brittain let them whip a cross in? Oh brilliant, the big man is injured now. Edit: supposedly just cramp - phew.
  4. Jeez you’ve gotta at least test the GK there! I think we’re finding out why we got him on the cheap. Looks quality apart from the finishing!
  5. I genuinely think anyone of us could have chucked some names on a dartboard and done a better job than our recruitment team over the past couple of seasons. The loanees have taken the biscuit - they've all been absolutely shite.
  6. I'm shocked that anyone was surprised that we didn't fork out decent money for a GK. Was never going to happen IMO. Cue Ruddy or similar joining towards the end of August.
  7. Appreciate this is performance related only, but he also put in the worst individual display in a Rovers shirt that I've seen from the past decade or so at Bristol City (I won't include Shane Duffy for that honor, as that was intentional IMO). That aside, he is no captain. Give it to Trav, JRC - anyone who has a bit of character and bite.
  8. Exactly why looking for greater communication with him is absolutely pointless (IMO of course). He’s the king of spin and bollocks. No doubt king rat Suhail is cut from the same cloth.
  9. As others have said, far too gone for that IMO. The one and only thing they need to do is bugger off. I’m quite surprised anyone thinks otherwise.
  10. If either of them told me the sky was blue then I’d have to stick my head outside just to check.
  11. Ooijer was bloody quality. Like night and day vs what we’ve become accustomed to under these charlatans.
  12. I noticed that, fecking terrible but I guess we shouldn't be surprised,
  13. Gent looks to have recovered from his 'injury' rather quickly eh.
  14. Jeez, why would we want both?! Surely one experienced (very old) CB coming in is enough. It’ll be like watching two oil tankers turning if they’re both on the pitch together.
  15. Of course; but the sheer number of players that have left the club meant that there was a lot of wiggle room with the wage budget. Perhaps some kind of green light has been given but I just wanted to highlight that it'll be crumbs at absolute best that we'll have to revamp the squad.
  16. Ohashi is a free, or otherwise an extremely small fee. Batth is a free, this French lad is free. It's only Big Mak that's cost a fee and that's the tiniest fraction of the funds the club has received over the past year or so.
  17. The dynamics within the changing room are going to be very interesting - two big and popular characters in Szmodics and Gallagher being replaced, so far, by two lads from overseas with at least one them not being able to speak the lingo. You sense any further signings, Mcfadz aside, look to be going the same way too with Park and Rudy leading the charge.
  18. Ennis barely tried. Gallagher puts in a shift when he is fit - which is rarely I’ll admit.
  19. Was strongly rumoured to have had his medical yesterday. Would seem as though we're waiting for Szmodics/Gallagher funds to hit before we can get anyone over the line. That, or as above, we'll bugger up any prospective deals at the 11th hour.
  20. I literally have only seen 2-3 clips of him, so I'm coming from a standing point with this observation, but he didn't look bad with his feet - quite tricky from what I did see.
  21. Word continues to spread concerning the shambles that is Blackburn Rovers: https://www.betvictor.com/blog/gab-suttons-championship-24-25-season-preview/
  22. "Siggy could well be our Szmodics / BBD this season" is a line I've seen/heard a couple of times. Tough to score 20+ from the treatment table!
  23. Well I called it that Brereton would be back in English football within 12-18 months albeit I thought he’d be back off to the championship. I think he’ll find his natural level back there after the season is out.
  24. You beat me to it. It’s gonna be one sunny land for the lad today with all those stories.
  25. He’d cost a fee. You can scratch that one off the list for that reason.
