  1. Absolutely zero chance we spend any kind of money like that IMO. Unless something drastic changes it will be freebies and loans at best.
  2. You would imagine Eustace's agent will be putting out feelers for something else...few with integrity will want to be associated with this car crash which is coming next season.
  3. As I said the other day, the only hope is if the Indian courts don't budge then the end game has to be coming because Szmodics aside, you'd struggle to get a couple of million for the lot. Keeping everything crossed that this season is the last of their disastrous reign. We'll be left in an absolute state - likely League One at best, but IMO bring it on if it means they are gone.
  4. Their ‘end game’ at Rovers cannot come soon enough. I thought we’d be stuck with them forever but unless something changes big time with the Indian government then that isn’t looking likely, thank f*ck.
  5. Mr Balon D’or is Jude (apparently). Jesus Christ they need to bin that award off now Messi is in the states.
  6. Hyam and co give it a run for their money!
  7. No subs. Southgate clearly a fan of Tony Mowbray’s passion for remaining unbelievably stubborn until it’s too late.
  8. I’d wager that Southgate's first change will be Gallagher for Mainoo. Criminal how poorly we’re playing under this guy.
  9. Although any further delays with regards to funding would seriously jeapordise our Chanpionship status given how poor our squad is, 99.99% of us would take the above scenario if it meant they finally cleared off. I’ll get the bubbly on ice.
  10. I saw some photos of his missus...if that were me I'd be disappearing for some time!
  11. In true Southgate style I bet it'll be Trent on for Gallagher in the second half at some point with Kobbie and Adam left twiddling their thumbs on the bench.
  12. Indeed. Same with Mainoo, same with Palmer, same with Gordon. He's a stubborn sod is Gareth. He simply has to bring in Wharton or Mainoo against Slovenia. But I bet he'll go with Gallagher.
  13. I mean, his stats speak for themselves in La Liga but let’s not forget Bellingham was anonymous in the big CL KO games for Madrid. The plan to absolutely build our team solely around him (I know you’re not suggesting that, but many are) would be naive.
  14. ‘We don’t have anyone like Kalvin Phillips’. We do Gareth. He’s called Adam Wharton and he’s a significant upgrade.
  15. Hard to disagree. One thing I will say though, I can’t see any manager winning the euros with that defence.
  16. Yep, will be confirmed at 5.30pm that he’s off to Germany. Go smash it, Adam!
  17. Putting aside the shit show of our club, I just feel so proud of the lad. I knew on day one how special he could be. Fingers crossed he’s on that plane - good luck, Adam.
  18. All these journos spouting ‘positive’ news for Rovers when, to coin an Office phrase, ‘there is no good news’ whatsoever concerning our football club.
  19. Me neither. The bar at Ewood these days however is very, very low.
  20. Delighted for Adam, really am. Further Illustrates how we had our pants pulled down big time though and we could have seen him in our colours for a further six months. Cheers Venky’s, cheers Steve.
  21. I’m like a proud dad whenever I hear he’s done well or watched Palace’s highlights. On the other hand it pisses me off so much that he didn’t get to see the season out with us before moving for 25m+. As Szmodics said in his recent interview, ‘he didn’t want to go’. Palace will be laughing all the way to the bank; I know a host of other clubs were/are hindered by FFP but I’m still stunned it was pretty much just them in if for him. He’s generational.
  22. I genuinely hope no Rover gives this cretin the time of day from now on - he needs to know in no uncertain terms that he is not wanted any more. Meeting with him under any guise moving forward is simply stoking the flames IMO.
  23. Indeed. Now I’m not comparing their ability for one second, but the best player to have ever played the game, Messi, is famed for just strolling around in matches. The best make the beautiful game look the easiest. As an aside, not bad for a lad who ‘had to improve defensively’:
  24. Bet there won't be any fax machine issues with this cheap signing.
