ROVERS V Frank Lampards DCFC

Very disappointing not to be leading there. Bar that brain fart from Travis we’ve been very good. However, it’s yet another first half without a goal from us at Ewood. What’s that now - just 7 in 21 we've scored in? -

Good to see us on the front foot for once - we really need to make this domination count. Couple of observations; Bell is so bloody frustrating going forward - slows every move down. Dack working extremely hard but just not at it in front of goal yet again. Rothwell such an enigma - does the hard work but must be one of the worst finishers I’ve seen in a Rovers shirt. COYB, let’s make this count. -

Is Conway getting another new deal or something as this is becoming very concerning. His love for social media boy Bennett is infuriating too. I reckon Mount, Wilson and Lawrence will run riot tonight. 3 of our back 4 consists of Bennett, Williams and Bell FFS. -

I really don’t see how some of these lads can’t make it into our squad more regularly. The 1sts are hardly pulling up any trees, let’s be honest. -
Mowbray: Stay or go?

The day has come when I firmly agree with you Mercer (please don't follow this up by predicting we'll hammer Derby tomorrow)! -
Jesus Christ, reading JHR's post really does hit home some of the dross we've been beaten by this season. Cannot wait for us to be safe(!) and the summer to be here - like pulling teeth watching Mowbray's men at the minute.

Yep. He's already been banging on about how youthful and exciting they are ahead of tomorrow, so as you suggest, we can expect his 'warriors' to all take to the field in an effort to nullify them. I can foresee: Raya Nyambe Lenihan Williams Bell Smallwood Evans Conway Dack Bennett Graham IMO, this would be completely the wrong road to take. We haven't scored at home in the first half FIFTEEN TIMES this season. That is nearly bloody reason alone to pot the bloke - it's embarrassing and will make any push for season tickets laughable at this stage. Just got at 'em Tony - you'll be far more likely to get backing from the support if you do, rather than to be sh*t scared of them and to see us go down by a couple of goals at home. If we set up defensively and they score early doors (weekly occurrence at present) then we all know what will happen as when we fall behind we look like not scoring again this side of Christmas. -

Stoke had only won one in 12(?) before yesterday, so one in 8 will be no trouble for Frank and his boys. I fully expect us to be rolled well and truly over by 2 or 3 goals. Mount, Lawrence and Wilson could have a field day here. -
I see our former PR guru Alan Myers is active on Twitter tonight, defending TM. Always liked Alan but he’s just defending the indefensible right now with a lot of his comments.

Bang on. The previous form argument is too convincing to be swayed otherwise - he clearly doesn’t have the nous or experience to turn this slide around. It’s not an ‘unlucky run’ or whatever he’d have us believe. It’s a nosedive and then some. We’re 1000% dead certs for the drop next season if we do, as you would expect, survive this time around.
-
Yep. If he’s playing Smallwood, Evans and Williams (to name just 3) but not Reed or Rodwell then it’s because they’ll be in and around the team next season. We’re blatantly looking at our team bar one or two changes with Tony trusting ‘his lads’ once again. Get planning your League One 20/21 campaign boys and girls.

I reckon if we somehow lost to a completely inept Bolton side a fair few would turn, but they’re just as bad as us (although the form table would suggest otherwise not in our favour!). -

I’m sick and fecking tired of watching us to be honest - it’s all so so obvious every week. I knew there would be one goal in it today and of course, it had to be them that got it. 9 defeats in 11, 4 points from 33. It can’t go on - even the sheep must see it?
