  1. Yeah he blatantly had a fall out with Mowbray during Derby half time. Barely played a minute since (one match was it?) and as you say, literally been ripping Mowbray online since about it. As for Rothwell, he’ll be off to Bournemouth no doubt.
  2. I thought it was quite telling that neither Johnson nor Rothwell mentioned the manager in either of their goodbye posts.
  3. Aspirations for managing a team challenging for promotion. Who on earth does he think will come in for him?! WBA at best and that would just be because of his previous with them.
  4. Nah not after his comments today - once Suhail has fed back. I agree there will be no word on anything by then, mind!
  5. I’m hoping the gentle dig at the way Venky’s run things means that they wouldn’t even now entertain calling Tony about an extension.
  6. What did I say pre-match? We always win when the pressure is off. Very frustrating.
  7. Dint you worry, we’ll find out everything that’s going on…in early July. As for the game, we tend to turn it on when there’s zero heat. 3-1 Rovers.
  8. Regardless of what happens to Mowbray, talk of the likes of Farke seems fanciful when there appears to be zero communication between Ewood and Pune save for Suhail who hasn’t a bloody clue how to run a football club. I’m expecting TM to leave personally, but would wager that no bugger will be lined up for months.
  9. Mowbray: "Nothing has changed" https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/20117412.nothing-changed---tony-mowbray-meeting-blackburn-rovers-ceo/
  10. Keeping Lenihan and Nyambe would solve two huge headaches for Daniel Farke the incoming manager. Fingers crossed they get done.
  11. Think you have just woke up as there's not a cat in hells chance of Rothwell renewing! Reckon if we did get a decent manager ala Farke quickly, then Lenihan could be persuaded.
  12. Dark evening for the league with that lot going up.
  13. Pete O'Rourke @SportsPeteO: Ex-Derby County boss Phillip Cocu is in the frame to replace Tony Mowbray as Blackburn Rovers manager. #Rovers #dcfc Probably just circulating the news from yesterday, but Pete is often on the money.
  14. If that’s the case, don’t even conduct an interview process and just give the bloke what he wants.
  15. I suspect there will actually be a couple of decent candidates in that list. However, as with Warnock, I reckon they’ll run a mile and a HSH reject will be the ‘outstanding candidate’ once again.
  16. Nothing official on it. HSH. Out of work. Cheap. Dont write it off.
  17. He’s right about the Wigan match though. It all started there.
  18. I threw a tenner on Pulis at 20/1, purely because that’s HSH’s, sorry the owners’, easy move.
  19. Good luck to you if you’re happy with it, Paul. I’d say 3 wins in 17 is pretty much same sh*t different week. As with last season.
  20. Thank f*ck I was busy with plans today. All so predictable. All so Tony Mowbray. I’m personally very, very pleased that this chapter is over. Yes it could very well be worse, but I couldn’t handle any more of this. Time to roll the dice. I’m sick to death of the same shit every week.
  21. And that key element (injuries a huge part of course) only scored once since the turn of the year. I still really do think the bloke is a half season wonder.
  22. Well well well, today perfectly summed up Mowbray's Rovers. Pitiful in the main. I won’t be losing any sleep around his exit that’s for sure.
  23. Yeah, but now two wins from two is very, very likely not to be good enough.
  24. 2-1 SU. QPR are fecking gash. Season over tonight realistically unless they somehow find an equaliser.
