There are so many awesome and interesting directions they could go in, but you know they won't pick any of those. He'll come out and Michael Cole will start hollering about Wyatt being "evil" or "creepy" or whatever, whilst attaching whatever nickname they give him, assuming they don't stick with the "eater of worlds" moniker. He'll probably end up getting fed to Roman Reigns after being Shane McMahon's lackey for a couple of months, then start literally chasing whoever is holding the 24/7 title by then. Maybe Ramblin' Rabbit will win it and Bray will start feuding with the puppet.

Definitely redo it mate, the game is worth it. If you need any other advice then feel free to ask, I've sunk about 200 hours into the game through a couple of playthroughs. As long as you save regularly and get the palaces done as soon as possible you should be golden. Oh, and make sure you talk to the two girl wardens and get their social link started. I found out the hard way during my first playthrough that if you don't then you are unable to fuse the higher level personas

The only other heel they're putting any effort into is Baron Corbin of all people. Their obsession with Corbin is bizarre. Sure, he gets heat, but it's definitely "go away" heat as opposed to genuine heel heat. He's really boring and nobody wants to see him main eventing. I actually like Corbin as a character, he's very very good at being a sleazy heel, but I just have no interest in him as an in-ring performer. It's the same way with Elias. Great character, but boring in the ring. Back in the Attitude Era they knew how to protect these kinds of wrestlers so that they weren't exposed in the ring and still got over as characters, but they have no idea how to do that now. The booking is just so insanely bad. Look at Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Two of the best in ring performers AND characters in all of wrestling, and yet WWE has utterly ruined both of them and somehow made the pair of them boring. It's incredible. You just know they would both shine in AEW, as would Balor, Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan, and various other wrestlers that WWE has neutered over the years. What's galling is that NXT proves there are some people in WWE who know what they're doing, but as Dean Ambrose said, that's because it's missing one major problem - Vince McMahon. I dread the day Bray Wyatt returns to Raw and/or Smackdown. You know that as soon as the Firefly Funhouse vignettes end and Wyatt is back on TV they will destroy all the momentum he's built up. He might even end up being the special referee on Sunday. Speaking of bad booking decisions - how does a HEEL appointing a special ref to screw the babyface make people want to buy a PPV? Especially when it's somebody like Corbin who people don't want to see in the main event anyway, let alone as champion. It makes no sense. Who gave Corbin the authority to appoint the ref anyway? Vince? Stephanie? Linda? Triple H? None of them have been on TV regularly as of late and none of them have shown anything to suggest they even like Corbin. They stripped him of his general manager position and blamed him for ratings tanking, ffs. Now suddenly he's being allowed to appoint special referees and has title matches? I appreciate asking for continuity in WWE is a bit much, but even so, this is just so senseless.

You can add fused personas to the compendium as well, I'm sure mine went in automatically but I honestly can't remember. I also had about four save states going at once just in case something happened that I couldn't get out of.
-
No chance of either happening unfortunately. They've done such a horrific job of creating new stars that they don't have anywhere near enough to sustain interest in two separate brands. In the past they might just let Smackdown wither on the vine, but with FOX looking over their shoulders in preparation for October they have had no choice but to effectively end the brand split with the stupid wild card rule to try and pull viewers across to both Raw and Smackdown. The funny thing is that even with all the top stars across both brands, it still isn't working, and both shows are continuing to tank at a scary rate. The long and short of it is that they have no real stars - Reigns is the best they have and he's no John Cena. The can't rely on Attitude Era stars to come back to pop a rating because they're either too old to go or just don't have the same appeal with WWE's core audience as they did 10-15 years ago. Factor in the disgustingly bad creative direction of the company and it's little wonder they're circling the drain from a viewership perspective. Cutting the third hour is a no go as they would need to boost the Raw rating to at least a 3.0 to offset the money lost from advertising revenue - and there's no chance of Raw hitting a 3.0 again any time in the near future.
-
You may be able to buy those personas back from the compendium if you have enough money. That said I can't remember if you actually have access to the compendium that soon in the game... possibly not.
-
Good luck to him. At least it's a sensible contract size for once.
-
It is a bit of a kick in the balls, and a serious oversight by the devs. Strange as the rest of the game is pretty forgiving and doesn't really leave you any room to screw up badly.
-
I think for the first palace at least you should receive some kind of warning if you're close to going past the calling card deadline, as a new player especially may not realise that you need an entire day (sometimes two) just to send the calling card and re-infiltrate the palace, which has to be done before the execution deadline. There's a bit of an assumption that the player has played previous Persona games and will automatically understand the deadline system. Best thing to do is just get the palace done ASAP. It has no impact on the social link side of things and means you don't have to worry about running out of days to finish getting the treasure.
-
If you are on Sunday and the execution deadline is Monday then I think you are unfortunately going to run out of time. The only positive in that the first castle is by far the shortest in the game, so it shouldn't take TOO long to get back through it.... still a pain though. I tended to get the castles done ASAP to avoid missing out on deadlines.
-
If you look on the calendar in game there is a calling card deadline. If you are past that point then you're screwed, if not then you are potentially okay.
-
The bit you are at is basically the last part before you send the calling card, so yeah you're near the end. Keep in mind the next palaces are both longer and more difficult. Also keep in mind you need a day just for leaving the calling card and returning to the palace. I would genuinely recommend keeping a guide handy for the upcoming palaces (Polygon and IGN both have decent ones) as some of the puzzles are ridiculous. Without guides I'd probably still be playing through my first save now. Make sure you have at least an hour or so to spare every time to go into a palace as well, as save points/safe rooms are not exactly abundant (except in one of the later palaces, which bizarrely has a ton of safe rooms). The other social link I'd recommend maxing out ASAP is the doctor (Takemi?) as it gives you discounts on really useful items. In particular there are HP/SP replenishment items that you can equip which are extremely helpful, especially when you get to the latter stages,

So, Raw rating this week is 1.63. Smackdown meanwhile is only 1.27! Those are abysmal, especially with no competition from american football or the NBA. Smackdown in particular is up there with the worst ratings in the history of that show. FOX must be looking at their deal with WWE very nervously now. Almost none of the fans who stopped watching WWE for the NBA playoffs have come back.
-
It's great, isn't it? You've still got a long way to go but the game definitely had me from beginning to end. For the first run make sure you max out Kawakami's social link ASAP, as it lets you go out in the evening after you've finished a palace or mementos. Also make sure you give yourself a decent amount of days for the palaces, as in the first run you won't normally be able to finish them all in one go. If you do an NG+ game then you can usually do palaces in one hit. Keep in mind with NG+ you can also redo the social links you didn't finish the first time around, and you'll get through the game quicker due to carrying over your weapons, armour, etc from the first run. I think my first P5 game clocked in at around 80-90 hours. I was gutted when it was over. I tried to play P4 on my PSTV but man it was a serious downer seeing such a huge graphical downgrade (P4 came out initially on the PS2, and even though it was rereleased on the Vita/PSTV the graphics aren't really improved). P5's graphical presentation is so slick and just all around awesome that it makes it very difficult to go back to the older games unfortunately.

I used to do a variation of this with Burnley, but it went more along the lines of selling all their best players dirt cheap, signing a bunch of terrible free transfers on huge multi-year contracts, wasting the entire transfer budget on somebody like Andrews or Lowe, then resigning and watching with satisfaction as they sink into both league and financial oblivion. Good times.
-
We haven't been linked to anybody I think would seriously improve us yet - but as far as I can tell it's all guesswork at the moment, largely based on likely destinations for free transfers and players we've been linked with in the past or former players out of favour at other clubs. Mowbray seems to be keeping his cards close to his chest for now. Fingers crossed we're looking at a lot better than what's been rumoured so far, but I'm not holding my breath. I get the feeling we're in for another underwhelming summer. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

Mulgrew in midfield would be a disaster and he'd be injured before the first match was over.
-
This is a common fallacy on here. Go through the games where he scored last season and you'll see we don't need his goals, as we barely won any of them. We need somebody who can defend in defence, and let the attacking players do the scoring. Oh, and I don't think he got any assists, so we aren't missing those either!

Creative freedom shines through in everything AEW does. It's such a nice contrast to the robotic lifelessness of modern WWE. Not everything will be a home run, but even then it's still better than watching WWE's talented but shackled performers go through the motions every week. The Cody/Dustin promos before Double or Nothing were awesome. Dustin in particular went from being a parody of himself in WWE to being totally reborn and rejuvenated in AEW.

What a spiral that boy's career has gone into. Still only 25 but has gone from being a Welsh international and a regular at a fairly big Championship club to failing in a minor football league in the USA and now playing in League 2.

The reason the 24/7 title is enjoyable, other than R-Truth just being entertaining in anything, is because it's different from the same old shit served up across the rest of the show. It's the same with the Firefly Funhouse - it's like being given a sip of water after walking through a desert for a few hours. As you correctly say, everything else is insanely boring now. Raw has been boring for literally years but the wildcard rule has ruined Smackdown. Granted Smackdown never returned to the level it was at during the second half of 2016 and early 2017, but it's always been better than Raw - if only because it's two hours rather than three. Since the wildcard rule was introduced Smackdown is now just an extended version of Raw, essentially, with THE BIG DAWG and Shane McMahon all over both shows. I still can't believe that WWE have already managed to book Reigns so badly that some people are beginning to boo him again. Their booking is so bad that fans are booing a cancer survivor. Meanwhile Shane McMahon, who was very recently one of the most over characters in the company, is now getting chants of "boring", "CM Punk" and "AEW" during his promos. Very good job.

I don't think FOX have much wriggle room in their WWE agreement. As far as I've read that's 5 years of guaranteed mega cash for WWE no matter what happens. As for Raw and USA Network, if it was regularly dipping below 1.5 you have to imagine the situation would start to become untenable. Apparently USA have already been meddling due to alarm over the current ratings slump, and the stupid 24/7 title was their idea. If that's the best they've got they're probably better off leaving it alone.
-
Honestly you could post practically anything from the 90s through to the mid-00s and it would almost certainly be more entertaining than the shit that gets served up by WWE on Mondays and Tuesdays. Raw posted a 1.54 rating this week, which I believe is the lowest in modern history outside of holiday shows. TNA was getting 1.4/1,5 very briefly when they switched to Mondays, so it's now that bad.
