Smallwood off at HT? Or are we looking at the down to 10-men and Rhodes scoring the winner scenario? -

I was going to mention that in last week's match day thread. It was a bit of a disgrace how they allowed Raya to get shoved around. It seemed very childish - like - "You've given a penalty away so you're on your own now" . . . .Certainly not in keeping with this 'team spirit' we've heard so much about. Maybe that only exists online? -
I wonder if there's going to be "Total Commitment" in the transfer market as with the half season ticket marketing.

Certainly till almost February which I originally wrote in the Championship thread. I may have lost my rose tinted spectacles, but what have you seen in the last few games that makes you think we'll be capable of beating those teams at the top? Or even have the bottle to get something from The Den? -

Only £20 in advance they say. £48 walk on (allegedly) ? I've already said elsewhere that there's a chance we might not get another point till February. I haven't seen anything recently to suggest we'll get anything out of this one. Our only chance would be if Norwich don't turn up - and/or get an early sending off. 1-3 to Norwich. -

Perhaps you need to take more notice of my license to print money predictions? ? I think Brereton could end up writing a book - "A linesman ruined my career" - (that's not a betting tip though ?). -

Haven't seen any replays, though he did miss a couple of chances didn't he? Though I think the tight angle one across the goal was flagged for offside. The first one though . . 6 yards out? . . . ? -

They literally did look like they didn't want to be there. Heads dropped - after 46mins they would have taken a 2-0 defeat and no frostbite or trench-foot. But . . .This is Rovers.. . . -
I hope Father Christmas brings everyone what they want, as the next month and a bit is looking like it could be very tough - if the opposition turn up we might not even get a point until almost FEBRUARY. ? The next few games against the top teams go without saying (Norwich, Leeds, Sheff United, West Brom) - but then there's the trip to The Den (where Millwall are no pushovers) and by the time we play Ipswich at home following that they might be playing amazing under their not so new manager. Further misery could come with an F.A. cup stuffing at Newcastle, and no January transfer window investment, as we'll be way off the play-offs (more than likely hovering around 17th position looking up at Preston). BAH! HUMBUG!

Not sure if stats will back this up, but on a Championship goals show Birmingham were described as a 'big team' that are 'good at set pieces'. If that's the case then we should be afraid, very afraid. They'll score at least 2. If our forward line are on form. 2-2 Perhaps? -

Did everyone just get bored of it in the end (like Brexit)? It was eventually played in Madrid on Sunday with River Plate winning 3-1 AET. They basically took over in extra time after Boca Juniors had a player controversially sent off. Then there were the usual celebrations/riots back in Buenos Aires. ? -
That's in keeping with the theme Blackburn: A Town Divided. I do remember coming back here a several years ago and walking through the shopping centre to go to Morrisons and then when I returned it was all shut down and blocked off, so within half an hour the town centre had become a complete Ghost Town. I remember I felt semi-shocked as at the time as I was living most of the year in a an almost 24/7 City. To achieve a '24hr economy' (of the type discussed on radio Lancs - regarding Preston) you really have to first bridge that gap between a total shut down at 5.30pm and when people may consider returning to the centre to go out to eat or the pub, cinema or whatever. Perhaps there's no chance of that ever happening in Blackburn.

I still keep hearing (from various sources) how Darwen is the place to go out these days. Even that mainstay of Blackburn's glory days (through to the decline) The Godfather Pizza place has finally moved there ? Also, I hear Preston have big plans to try and become a '24hr economy'. How about Blackburn? Is there anything in the pipeline? It seems people don't even talk about Blackburn any more . . .

I saw them at Rebellion Festival in Blackpool in 2016 (the infamous 3-0 down to Norwich after '30 seconds' weekend incident) You gotta try and see the classics before they snuff it. £40 to see The Specials next year? Hmmm . . . .
