I have to admit he's come across well and pretty genuine in these interviews(better than any manager since allardyce) talks cheap though, but if the kentaro links arent as dubious as we where first lead to believe and we can get some quality players in this summer then i maybe will give him a clean slate for the start of the season. As for the past burnley link, that doesnt really bother me tbh, he wasnt really there that long and he did get them promoted with a pretty crap squad. In regards to the comments made in support of kean, that can be put down to him just supporting a friend(as many of us would) and also not knowing exactly why the fans where fuming during that period. His form as a manager post burnley is much harder to ignore and the only way he can get around that is by building a respectable team and winning games. I haven't totally flipflopped just yet, but i have flipped a little😵

Just ctrying to wondering who else could do the job of being the main presenter? They'd need to have a big personality, really know there motors and be funny. Nobody springs to my mind(maybe they could get chandler in)

I think that's the general opinion, I just think theres enough other good aspects to the show to ignore him(for now)

I think it will gradually improve further and become a hit, at which point Chris evens ego will as ever get the better of him and he'll become impossible to work with so he'll be sacked/pushed out/quit

I was expecting the new top gear to be a car crash with ginger balls at the helm, but I have to say it was a solid show, evans may be a doosh but history shows that he knows how to make a good live audience tv show(big breakfast, don't forget your tooth bush, tfi friday,) The tone is different, this is less cynical, more family friendly and Matt Le blanc is clearly an uber geek when it comes to motors and I though he came across really well and very sincere, The banter was a bit awkward but i think it will improve and become more natural with time(if they get the time)
