I'm not a fan of any other sports other than football but even I know that what Carl Fogarty MBE achieved in his field was amazing whether you like it or not, not to mention his greatest achievement of winning I'm a celeb..., i don't recall jack walker ever completing a bush tucker challenge. Vinjay- note the words 'Most Famous' in the threads title. -

yes i agree, i just thought he deserved a mention that's all, fogarty is the obvious choice as like you say he is famous world wide and is a true Legend in his sport, ive no idea if any of the names being mentioned are true blackburners though(i.e, born and raised in the town) -

Im also looking intrigued to see B Vs S despite the critics battering it, I'm not really a fan of Zak Snyder and have no idea how he's managed to get so much control over the DC movie universe but his films aren't usually bad, just very slow, over stylised and lacking any humour, but still looks well worth a watch. I think a lot of the hate is coming from A. people are just fed up of seeing so many superhero films(and understandably so imo) so any superhero film that maybe good but isnt very good is getting the backlash B. all the marvel fanboy critics/reviewers pee on every film dc make regardless.

up to now i've always found Tarantinos films to range from very good to great but I watched The hateful eight this afternoon and found it totally pants, struggled to stay awake for the first 90 mins or so and the last 90 mins(or so) was just silly shallow rubbish, it takes more than some nice cinematography and an Ennio morricone score to make a great western

Bryan street chippy does a good one, you need a big appetite to polish one off though(and I'm not normally somebody that struggles to finish a meal;) ) I find they tend to be made slightly differently from one chippy to the next, some are awful, some are yum, the one in the you tube video looks good but he can stick the onion up his (bleep) and they're a little skinny compared to some you see
-
Theyre not proper chippys unles they can make a good john bull
-
They never have a moth week, those furry winged little black devil's scare me far more than any big cuddly shark

Get a deep fryer, nothing beats home made chips.

what channel/service is it showing on?
-
never heard of it before but just watched the trailer and it looks good fun and something different, any good?
-
its a 10+ year old real life case there's nothing to spoil, its not bloody game of thrones ha, trust me and just give it a watch(you'll be hooked after 1 episode I guarantee)

It will be fascinating to find out what happens now that the Averys have millions of people on their side and top lawyers taking on the case for them, it personally doesn't sit right with me the way an edited and pretty much one sided tv show is having so much influence over a real life event surrounding the murder of a women, but then again if the courts had just done their jobs right in the first place........
-
yes it was, still though I think the show makers edited it and altered the timeline a little in the boys favour, but you're right though they did seem to stitch him right up and take advantage of his lack of mental ability and them using those methods alone should have been enough for any decent judge and jury to throw the case against him out of court(regardless of whether he was actually involved in the murder or not)
-
Yep,I think the show was to biased in averys side for me to discuss decide whether i think he did it or not, but what it does show for certain is what a complete perverted, corrupt farce the american legal system and police force are.
-
Has anybody else watched "making a murderer" on netflix yet? brilliant documentary/tv series, probably the most compelling tv show I've seen for a good while, highly recomended

aims for remainder of the season(in order of priority) avoid relegation(der!) put our genetically suspicious pendle cousins back in their place top halve finish quarter finals of fa cup or better -
Jake kean had a real stinker for colchester yesterday, really poor performance from him (judging by the higlights) P.s. donis ran with the ball like a high speed steam train, sadly he manoeuvred like one as well.
