  1. I agree with bizzle on the top gear, it was good in the first few years and seemed genuinely unpredictable at times(even though it was likely staged even then) but i think probably after hammonds accident the show became ridiculously staged and lost its edge with mainly the challenge segments paying the price for that, so it seemed like clarkson had to resort to just being outspoken and controversial to keep the viewing figures up. Im not really interested in cars themselves but you cant deny the the cinematography and scenary on the show can be pretty amazing. as for the new top gear, i cant stand evans but i really like Matt LeBlanc(He's brilliant in Episodes, which is a seriously underrated comedy imo) and i think he could be really funny if he plays up to the dumb arrogant american motor head stereotype, its just a shame he hasn't got a good British co presenter alongside him to play the more dry straight laced British stereotype.
  2. There where two main things in last nights episode that i just couldnt see the logic to, 1. seriously he could have held that door for a day and still bran wouldn't have got more than a half a mile away being dragged along the ground by that girl, so there is simply no way they could out run the white walkers 2. how the hell did theon, his sister and the thousands of people it must have taken to sail those fleeing ships just slip away when the guy that was elected leader and his remaining people where only around the corner for seemingly not very long going through the little baptism/drowning ritual ANd also how many people live in these iron isles, surely it must have taken the majority of them to sail those ships, so who exactly is going to be building and sailing the requested 1000 new ships(that will no doubt be built in less than a few episodes. Oh! and finally a few more things that eirked me, did that play scene really have to go on sooo long(as funny as it was) Do we really need another ruddy red witch(or any new key characters at all tbh) and really what is the big fuss about the dire wolves, they seem to just get killed with little effort or much resistance.
  3. Too much filler not enough meat, Pretty much everything that happens off the mainland has been pretty forgettable(and just plain silly in arias case)
  4. This seasons had a few fun scenes but overall its been rubbish so far.
  5. I watched 11 cloverfield lane the other day, was expecting more, i found it pretty dull really, John Goodman was as great ever though(he's such a seriously underated actor)
  6. Its is really good and entertaining, im just saying its not technically a great show, it's not in the same league as breaking bad, mad men, the wire.... Its just good dumb fun(and it really makes me laugh when it tries to get all heavy and serious, it soo ludicrous) i do recomend it though it's a good pallette cleanser between more thoughtfull shows.
  7. Its cheesy & hammy crap, but very well plotted entertaining crap.
  8. Finally got around to watching fargo season 2, @#/? hell its bonkers, i love it.
  9. Oh its the time of the year for that old chestnut, zzzzzzzzzzz
  10. There is a lot of maudling going on
  11. Anybody fancy a takeaway? http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/14430526.Ordering_in_tonight__Food_hygiene_ratings_for_Blackburn_Darwen_takeaways_revealed___/ p.s. 'Sonali' is my usual local go to for a good curry and to be fair the food is always spot on and so is the service, its just the building itself that is a bit of a wreck
  12. I didn't mind Skyler(maybe the fact She's a hot momma has something to do with that though) I thought her acting was brilliant, especially that dinner table scene with Walt and Jessy
  13. Sorry, mixture of keany auto-correct typing what it wants, wanky touchscreen phones and my general poor spelling & grammar, I think I've corrected most of it now(now that it really matter)
  14. I hated walt from episode 1 but at the same time you cant take your eyes of him because he was played so incredibly by bryan cranston, most of the characters where knobs or just pretty hard to sympathise with but it was still great though, the only charecters that i did like where jessy(obviously) hank(up until the start of season 5B and mike hermantroad, the only character I had no time for was walts son, i just thought his character was so underused and underdeveloped(though I think that could largely be down to the actors acting ability and physical disability making it hard to do much with him)
  15. Teaser trailer for starwars rogue one came out today, looks rudy brilliant, I cant wait to see what a really interesting director can do with a starwars film.
  16. I wouldnt say it was terrible(or even bad) but it was a show that got progressively better with each series
  17. haha, I thought your " no" was sarcasm, it's a very slow burning show but when it delvers it frickin DELIVERS, but if you went into it expecting Breaking bad#2 then yes you would have been disappointed, Still smarter, better acted and more brilliantly directed than the majority of shows around(and its written to perfection) Shame you give up on it but if you don't like it you don't like it. p.s. if you where a big breaking bad fan then your really missing out with season 2, a few familiar faces have shown up and theres lots of winks & nods to bb
  18. any guesses to what Mikes planning?
  19. Better call saul is always great, thiss weeks episode was just soo good I was still grinning like an idiot long after it ended, I could watch the shot of the dancing inflatable man all day long
  20. when i say young mean around infant school age and younger, even if it doesnt scare them it will definitely all just go over their heads. Maybe im just underistmating modern kids, i forget they're inundated with violent video game images and such these days.
  21. Just been to see b Vs s this afternoon, blimy! I know rotten tomatoes scores and such should be taken with a pinch of salt but jeez theyve got it sooo wrong this time, obviously it wasn't flawless but still pretty bloody badass and easily one of the best superhero films ever. P.s. surprised how many parents where in there with little(under 10s) its a pretty brutal dark nightmarish film for the most part.
  22. i heard he lived above the manxman at some point, not sure if true
