  1. Or get promoted with us, which would definitely be great.
  2. Merry Christmas to everyone who contributes to this site, as someone who is only able to get to a few games a year it is a real lifeline to what is going on at the club, from the match updates from the junior Rovers team games, to the first team info. We may disagree at times but we all have one thing in common: we support the best and most successful town football club in the history of the game. Rovers till I die.
  3. Simply Red - Turn It Up
  4. This made me laugh out loud, good work matey
  5. There’s little point speculating. Apart from anything else none of us actually know Dack’s pain threshold and modern footballers do tend to squeal a lot at the best of times, so I wouldn’t make any judgements on that. Hopefully it won’t be as bad as feared.
  6. A la Howard Kendall's 1980 side, which was a joy to watch.
  7. The Who - Tommy Can You Hear Me?
  8. Paul Weller - Amongst Butterflies
  9. I agree Tony. Apart from three games (two against PNE and one at Ewood last season), their away results have been close, edgy affairs and I have no doubt that many of them could have gone their way with a bit of luck. We really need to turn up tonight else we could find ourselves on the wrong end of a 2-1 defeat
  10. Paul Weller - 5th Season
  11. Jason Donovan - Sealed With a Kiss
  12. Their worst defeats even among that load of dross were at PNE (twice) and Ewood. Let's hope that continues tonight.
  13. It was - that was my first Rovers away win and it felt bloody good!!!
  14. The English Beat - Which Side of the Bed?
  15. What an excellent band the Springfield were. Oh, and nice report Ian, its certainly been a terrific run and I'm Expecting to Fly further up the table over the next couple of weeks. I'll get my coat.
  16. Obviously nothing will ever top 1977 but coming back from 2-0 down at Boundary Park to win 3-2 in about 1972 was pretty special for a wee boy like me at the time as well.
  17. Trains. You don’t see one for hours then three turn up all at once. The Zombies - Time Of the Season
  18. The Jam - I Got By In Time
  19. The Small Faces - Green Circles
  20. Paul Weller - Wings of Speed
  21. Van Morrison - Jackie Wilson Said
  22. Dexys Midnight Runners - There, There, My Dear
  23. Lindisfarne - Meet Me On the Corner
