I think we'll have too much for Stoke. They can't even perform in Stoke on a cold, wet Wednesday evening in February, let alone in east Lancashire. 3-1 to Rovers, possibly after going behind. Arma, Downing, and one of the centre halves to notch.
If you genuinely think we chucked two points away today you should consider taking a break from watching football.
I understand a tinge of disappointment after being 2-0 up but the manner of losing that lead was very different to any previous instance of that happening recently, which has admittedly been too often. It was a valid comment after Preston away for example or Birmingham at home last season, but not today.
Some folk can’t see the wood for the trees.
We need between 70-73 points in all probability to get into the top 6 by the end of the season. This is such a topsy-turvy league I don’t think it matters which games those points come from. You could argue that it is an inability to beat the poor teams that has kept us out of the top 6 at the minute. 6 wins from anywhere will do.
Edit: this was in response to Wing Wizard Windy Miller above
That worldie would have gone in against anyone, and the soft penalty, well.....
Mental weakness and lack of depth had absolutely nothing to do with not seeing the game out today. I’m not saying it hasn’t in the past, but I don’t think you’re being rational here mate.
We didn’t lose mate.
And not aimed at you but I wish people would stop posting those ‘live’ league tables. You don’t get the points until after the final whistle!
I think City will beat Real comfortably. I also expect Liverpool to come back in their game as well. Agree that Chelsea have a tough game and Spurs are goners.
