TM confirms Travis will be out for a few months. Bad bad news and surely its a priority to get someone in to fill that role, particularly when Johnson/Evans/Holtby are all made of glass. Not been impressed with Davenport at all in the 15 minutes he's played in two years.

As we all knew, the defence is woeful. Lenihan gets an easier time than he should from our fans - very very average. Kaminski has looked good. Screaming at the defenders which is good to see.

I wasn’t apportioning blame, merely asking if anyone knew what the situation was. IMO....we’ve also seen Waggott and Mowbray make some shrewd investments which will no doubt yield massive returns for the club. I’ll keep my pitchfork in the cupboard for now.

What is going on with Mulgrew? Nowhere near the squad for the friendlies today and no rumours or links to him moving on. Big chunk of the wage bill being wasted.

Yet another woeful performance in a game where you’d think they would be up for it. I just don’t think TM has this group motivated. Summed up for me by footage at the end of a Bradley Johnson laughing and joking with their subs. Big changes needed in staff and players.

I’m sure we will end up with Cunningham again next season at lb. Other than that, I find it difficult to believe we will spend anymore money - we were up the creek pre covid, now we are certainly without a paddle. Armstrong will also be sold, currently the only non Dack asset worth much to a team above us. Nyambe possibly but clubs won’t pay big for him. Yet. Davenport is crap. Rankin Costello will fill a squad place with wharton, vale, butterworth. Going to be fun.....

Mowbray dropped Raya at the back end of last season for ‘poor form’. Begs the question what does he think about Walton’s current contributions.....

Holtby is a quality player - cut above the rest of them.

Staggeringly poor all round tonight (bar two Holtby passes in the first half). It really is inexcusable the players weren’t up for this. Not a red but utterly brainless from Brereton.

Decent enough half - we’ve looked more likely. Gallagher is way off the pace and quality required. Holtby and Brereton look class.

Worst performance of the season on a day when we needed something. Worrying TM can the these players motivated to win a game with so much on the line. so frustrating.
