  1. Can't say I'm interested in the England team but on absolute merit Kane and Vardy should be up front. Kane should probably be first choice though I haven't seen enough of Vardy to just label him a "one season wonder". Is Hodgson brave enough to drop Rooney or Sterling from the starting 11 however? Or accomodate Rooney as an AM or Sterling on the wing (or AM)?
  2. Apart from on May 14th lol. Speaking of mentioning Cole in a relegation thread shame he didn't fill in likes of Williams, etc on what he supposedly heard about Kean. Would have thought the news might have got through to Allardyce via Cole and his mate RFW.
  3. Certainly think that ALMOST applied today after restricting Middlesbrough so much. The problem is we can see why Rovers aren't likely to go goal crazy but defensive foundations ARE there.
  4. Asked that question (if you're reading Yoda guess who to?) on twitter. Can't do. Third party interference. Plus Boro paid for him to play for them by signing him.
  5. Well I wouldn't say there's any certainty of suddenly going goal crazy. The defensive foundation seems solid enough that we could see a few tight 1-0 wins here and there.
  6. That's because he's an idiot. People really need to look at the goal difference here for the sides below. Barring an injury crisis I can't see relegation either. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/table
  7. Gary Neville got a great result at Barcelona... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3430365/Barcelona-vs-Valencia-LIVE-Gary-Neville-takes-face-Lionel-Messi-Copa-del-Rey-semi-final-clash-Nou-Camp.html
  8. Maybe the "powers that be" at Villa were too busy watching this to sign anyone...
  9. I wish it was Tyson though do note he's calmed down. What a box office draw he was and boxing should be about trash talk and controversy its been that way since the 60's. Its funny how people get so morally outraged by things like the Haye/Chisora brawl. Boxers in bad role model shock what's the world coming to lol! I was more annoyed by their handshake afterwards and felt manipulated. Would have more interest in UFC if there were more grudge matches and personalities like Tyson. Dana White seems to have strict control in comparison to boxing though he's certainly not shy of a little trash talk himself. Bruno will have a problem getting licensed so maybe he needs to put in a call to Luxembourg...
  10. Doubt anyone saw this one coming...Frank Bruno wants to return to the ring. http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/frank-bruno-announces-return-boxing-7285088
  11. That might say more about Bogarde... Here's an interview from Bogarde within the past year. Bit different to earlier comments when he said he didn't care about being considered one of the worst EPL transfers ever, http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/mar/27/winston-bogarde-chelsea-interview Sure I read somewhere that Donis was extremely upset when Shearer was sold. Rovers certainly got the better of United that summer.
  12. Lars Bohinen is manager of Norwegian outfit Sandefjord and in 2011 finished third on Norway's version of Strictly Come Dancing. He joined Rovers from Forest in 1995. NORWEGIAN international Lars Bohinen could spark off Ray Harford's imminent spending spree by joining Blackburn Rovers from Nottingham Forest this week for £700,000. Some may recall Georgios Donis returned to Ewood as manager of Larissa in 2007. Been sacked a few times since then and is currently managing Al-Hilal. He was actually highly rated when he joined Rovers as United were also interested. Blackburn Rovers have beaten arch rivals Manchester United for the signing of Greek superstar Georgios Donis.
  13. New signing for the Academy @tyrese_sinco7 the 14yr old son of former Chelsea and Leicester defender Frank Sinclair.
  14. Well hopefully Alan Fettis is still a goalkeeping coach there.
  15. Well I'll recommend it over "Mr Fred's" at Stanley House that's for sure... Here's a unique restaurant... http://www.foxnews.com/world/2016/01/06/catfe-restaurant-temporarily-closes-after-running-out-adoptable-cats.html
  16. Hi I'm Vinjay...
  17. Different article but more comments from Peter White... http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/6201253.A_game_two_can_play/ "Ewood Park authorities have been fed up and frustrated by the summer-long dirty tricks campaign being waged by United's tabloid press stooges - that of trying to unsettle and poach Rovers ace Alan Shearer against a background of bids, talk of staggering sums and ridiculous rumour. Thus, if there is an element of mischief in the approach for Cantona - and, oh, how the thought of losing him must cause palpitations among the United hordes - it will be appreciated here in East Lancashire as a welcome instance of Old Trafford being given a taste of its own medicine. Two can play that game, says Uncle Jack."
