Raises more questions than answers for me that one, still I should never take a win for granted and we needed it but the football and state of our pitch is alarming for me

Do we intentionally nullify our creative players. Like really there is a lot more talent in this squad than they are showing, I can only think they are told to be this defensive unit rather than creative. It really can’t be much fun being a blackburn player just now

I just don’t enjoy this rovers team or for a good decade tbh, it just never feels like we are quite “right”, always feels like we are in the back foot, we create so little and have nothing in our squad to get fans out their seats. It really is a hard watch for me at the moment and sadly we seem to be on sky all the time stinking the place out. Non rovers supporter mates thought I was so unambitious by saying we have no chance of going up when we were riding high but I saw the performances and they just never filled me with anything other than we are a very poor footballing team

We are a tough watch , I’m not seeing a marked improvement from mowbray. We are getting sneaky wins that aren’t entirely merited, defeats are merited, not creating enough, relying on luck, a piece of magic and resolute defending to win matches. I just don’t see where we are going with this

What happened to the Travis that embarrassed mowbray and made himself unstoppable, completely different player to the one that we have today, his only current role in the midfield is to be a gobshite and he isn’t particularly good at that either

Travis shouldn’t be in the team just now, if he has hooked buckley then travis deserves the same treatment. As others have said, second to every ball and just don’t look interested. I have mates saying that I’m being unambitious when talking about us due to our league position but Iv said all season there is no way we go up , it’s really quite a poor team

If dack isn’t rotting in the reserves then I don’t know what is. markanday is banging them in for the reserves yet doesn’t get near the first 11. Seems to me very much that it doesn’t matter what your doing in these games, he has his favourites that he will stick with. There has been a good few games that some new ideas would have been beneficial but we didn’t do it and ended up losing

Always happy for the win but you know a shocker of a performance is coming next, until that stops it’s hard to get overly excited. dack and markanday must despair at seeing Dolan ahead of them in the pecking order. I imagine both will be away soonish, too good to be rotting in the ressies, don’t blame them

Superb lads, excellent result, unfortunately it needs to be followed up with some consistency to make it mean something. Last match I watched was Blackpool which I thought we were really good then we followed that with some stinkers, let’s see if we can turn the yo-yo performances around
