  1. All factors when considering if it’s worth signing him surely
  2. Let’s not be ridiculous, on what grounds do we make the playoffs? We will lose more than we win imo
  3. I don’t hate him but he will be overpriced coming from a prem team/ English/ high wages, I think the goalkeeping position is one we should be scouting for the in the cheaper European market. Going through the English leagues and I don’t see much to think they would be worth splashing out on , open to suggestions and I will do some research on them
  4. Don’t think any Blackburn fan can be accused of neediness or entitlement because they certainly haven’t had much to feel entitled to the past 10 years
  5. Yup fair enough, I was just frustrated after 90 mins on sat and 70 minutes last night, it’s a long time to be annoyed. When breakthrough finally came it was more relief than enjoyment for me. Would’ve liked to have seen a few more step up, but there was a few positives too. I would love to see us more fluid though. Still waiting on this mowbray brand I keep getting promised
  6. Nah the opposition really were rubbish last night, if we beat Fulham I would’ve been impressed
  7. I agree with you, that’s the most sensible post I have seen
  8. Were you happy at 70 minutes? Added to that the performance against Fulham and it’s happening again. Happy we got the win but now need to back that up against Charlton
  9. Totally don’t recall those as close or real chances. Armstrong off the line?
  10. Nope it’s my opinion , Not asking folk to agree , happy to have a debate, the wee petty digs are uncalled for imo. did we deserve it - yes. were hull playing reserves and new signings losing the last 5 and worst team in the league currently- yes. we were ok, certainly not as good as some are making out.
  11. Armstrong’s in first minute, a simple straight at him header is all I can remember in terms of chances. jackson Irvine has a free header and a few times we looked like causing ourselves problems by not dealing with balls into our box. Yes the final 15 minutes were good and makes it look comfortable but hull pretty much imploded for us. I’m not happy with mid table your right for whoever point that was. I strive for more and make no apology for doing so
  12. Think your reading too much into it and all fair comments
  13. 73 minutes of pure frustration, 73 minutes of being unable to breach Hull academy’s back line. We may have had a lot of the ball but it was all huff and puff with very little quality. The 12 minute flurry of goals was nice but I didn’t think the 90 minute performance was great and Hull did threaten on occasion. Hit the bar, few last gasp clearances and missed a free header, that look like we’re all forgotten by most fans. i maybe a harsh critic but I always want more from rovers until we are performing like a top 6 side and will make no apology for that. If that makes me sound silly then I’m going to sound silly. I think fans deserve more than we are currently serving up. Any other champ team tonight and we don’t win that one on that performance. But let’s bag the 3 points and move on. If we have any aspirations we must beat Charlton and get some momentum / consistency
  14. I ask who for you played well? Iv seen far more convincing and fluent 3-0 wins in my day
  15. Side tackle hence the ball went right , Ben knocks ball from out his feet , it’s a pen
  16. I would ask you to look at it again and watch the ball
  17. Your right, I didn’t think it was going in or anything, always dead relaxed when opposition hit the bar, not close at all
  18. I don’t think it was, keeper played the ball for me , thankfully didn’t need it. Thought brereton could’ve skinned the keeper had he more confidence
  19. They literally smacked the bar with walton beat and there was a few last gasp clearances with the ball bouncing around our box. Very poor team yes but we were edgy until armstrong struck for 2-0
  20. Pass marks to travis and nyambe, tosin cruised it if looking a little casual at times. Lenihans ball distribution was terrible but dealt with anything defensively. Walton had nothing to do. Armstrong most threatening but should score in first minute and I really do wish he lifted his head when running, missed some good opportunities to play in others, looks like he is always trying to get a shot away when not always best option but goal was very good. samuel looked half decent when he came on, willing to turn and run and well finished. Deserves a go up top. Now the poor bell- awful, nothing right all game johnson- overweight and ineffective, doesn’t get in many champ midfields these days. Shame as was a player in his day. downing- few good crosses but needs to do more bennett- terrible and stupid at times, diving in graham- loved the guy but done. Move to USA or Australia brereton- legs can’t keep up with the ball when dribbling, constantly knocks it away from himself overall- very poor , glossed over by an absolutely terrible hull team- currently relegation form and would go down had they not a cushion from first half of season. We weren’t fluid whatsoever, laboured and dull. I worry for remainder of season, we were lucky we didn’t concede. Whoever got first goal was winning this and luckily it was us which then opened up to a comfortable scoreline. Their keeper helped us out too, worst team Iv seen all season. know some of you are overjoyed but between Saturday and tonight I just see nothing to get overly excited about sadly
  21. I’m a 7 hour drive away and have work in the morning, so no I couldn’t get down tonight but do regularly attend Ewood , what’s your point?
  22. Your right it is patronising. I wish I could switch off until mowbray was away. Groundhog Day , mid table cloggers. Know what game this was last season. Millwall, beat them 2-0, we were horrible
  23. Armstrong first minute. Remind me anything in between before our first goal? I did see them crack the bar at 0-0
