I totally get JEs frustration with the club and understand him wanting to jump ship. If he'd gone to West Brom I'd get that. But Derby? Come on. He's sat with a good chance of getting play offs and it looks like we've got a couple of good additions from January, plus players starting to come back from injury we have a chance to make a good fist of it and aim for play offs. Surely you'd see out the rest of the season and potential get a play off finish under your belt. If we finish outside the play offs it's not going to damage his reputation too much given that we're not expected to finish there. Poor move jumping ship to Derby but shows what a shit show it is here that he'd swap a potential play off for a potential relegation.

Whether we think it was a good window or not (not) it's beyond doubt that these bodies came in too late. After the pompey win we had 4 winnable games that we could barely stitch a team together for.
