Has had a season ticket for about 15 years - also watched a lot of there youth games. He does have a tendency to overate Fulham academy players though so I’m defo not convinced. Not the kind of signing I want us to be making anyway.

My flat mate is a Fulham fan and he absolutely raves about him. Personally I have no interested in a loan move - would only block Vale.

Have you heard anything on the Rovers side? Does he prefer a move to Besiktas?

It’s been an exciting few days… At the moment in an ideal world we could be set for: RB Brittain (1-1.5M) - Confirmed CB VanHecke (5-8M - Special case) - Speculative CM/LWB Styles (1.5-2M) - Close CM Morton (loan) - Close RW/LW Bowler (2-3M) - Strong linked Surely would be our best set of business since big Sam?

Would love Josh Bowler… It also seems that Brighton haven’t decided whether Van Hecke will be in there first team next season. Would be incredible business to get him back - loan or perm.

I think with Nymabe - he was probably looking for a big signing on fee which he would of got moving on a free transfer. However it is clear that that didn’t come as maybe his agent indicated. Therfore he’s signed a 1 year deal at Wigan where he’ll play every week and get exposure before having a crack at another big move next summer.

Lancashire Telegraph article on the Brittain confirmation seems to indicate that we’ve paid a 6 figure fee with add ons potentially taking it to 7 figures. Good value!

Edun will come good this season. Never got a proper run of games in his natural position - give him that and I’m certain he’ll impress

Bowler is absolutely class. Has very similar traits to Joe Rothwell but is an out and out wide player.

Great game that - would argue based on our 2nd half chances we should of won it. Great intensity throughout. We look weak in the fullback areas.

There is no doubt that our lack of business is worrying - however it’s far from panic time yet. The reality is this season is and was always going to be a period of transition - I only feel we can properly judge JDT on next season. There are a lot of poor teams in the league this season - Blackpool, Rotherham, Reading, Cardiff, Birmingham etc etc. I don’t feel we are in too much risk of being relegated. We certainly won’t be going up. With players such as Vale, Wharton, Garrett and Phillips and Carter very much look apart of the first team picture this season I only really feel we need 3-4 quality signings to keep us on track for where we need to be to challenge next season. A RB, CB, and a CM need to be the priority with an attacker with pace being a bonus. Blood the youngsters through this season and set them up for a quality campaign, where JDT has had enough time to get across his principle of plays and then we have can have a proper go at it. GK: Kaminski, Eastman, Pears Full backs: NEW (RB), Brown, Pickering, Edun, JRC CB: NEW, Wharton, Carter, Phillips, Ayala CM: Travis, Buckley, Dack, New, Wharton, Garrett Wingers: Markandy, Dolan, Diaz, Hedges Strikers: Gally, Vale Not the strongest of squads but by no means terrible and should be enough to keep us mid table. Aslong as the signings brought it we’re of starting 11 standard I’d be pretty content with that. Perhaps a little leight upfront but Dolan and Diaz can both play up there.
