  1. We need a right winger with genuine pace and a left back. If we get both of those then it’s been an unbelievable window considering where we were at when JDT first joined
  2. My housemates are Fulham fans and season ticket holders. From what it sounds like Fulham have quite a limited budget this summer and have had to be very strict on there transfer fees. Struggle to see paying you 15m with add ons
  3. On styles. Interestingly a CM that Barnsley were set to loan from Burnley has been shifted to a perm deal. Could this be an indication of some money coming in from a potential Styles deal?
  4. Appreciate the rumour and more importantly - change in topic 😂
  5. Big game this. We need a win to kick us back into life, and following the 2nd half performance against Stoke, I think we will get it. Id go with: kaminski Carter Ayala Hyam Buckley Travis Wharton Edun Hedges Dack Diaz
  6. We will only be paying 5m if he shows he is worth it in the championship. If he’s not, we don’t pay it. I don’t know why this is so hard to understand.
  7. A winger with pace, a striker and a left back. That’s where my expectations are at.
  8. Hirst isn’t who I was hoping for but I am glad to see us sign a striker. On the positive side it’s a loan with an option to buy so no risk for us. Portsmouth fans seem to rate him very highly and he sounds like a great partner for Dack to play off.
  9. Personally not bothered about SVDB. Would be nice to have him as he is a quality player but I also believe Carter is ready for the championship and would like to see him get his chance. My hopes for the rest of window would be: Out: Diaz (15m), Butterworth (loan/perm) In: Birkimevic (5m), Styles (2m), bowler (3m)
  10. oh fairs - Sharpe originally said it was 4. Yes that is a little odd
  11. 2 attacking signings if Diaz goes. Really hope we make plays for Bowler and Birkimevic
  12. sounds like SVDB is also set to be wrapped up. 2 very very good signings there
  13. He’s been rumoured for a while hasn’t he so could be a good shout. Not one I want personally tho
  14. 100%. I’ve seen enough of JDT too suggest we’ve got a goodun. People are expecting too much too quickly.
  15. We’re not getting promoted this season, while obviously would be nice, it has never been the ambition this season. Us fans need to see the bigger picture. We’re going through a rebuild while also blooding through some extremely talented youngsters into the squad. Next season is where the pressure will be on to make a serious playoff push - however this season it’s about JDT applying his style of play, integrating extremely talented players such as Wharton, Phillips, Garrett into the squad, while giving him 3 Windows to bring the squad to where he wants it to be. Only next season can we truly judge how Broughton and JDT have truly done. I would happily take a midtable finish this season aslong as a clear identity is established throughout the season with the right players developing.
  16. I wasn’t really away of Hyam when I heard the rumours yday however having looked into it, seems to be an incredible bit of business for 1.5m! Statistically up there with the best in the championship both physically and in possession, never injured and experienced (but crucially yet to enter his prime as a CB). The Szmodics deal doesn’t convince me, however Brittain and Morton seem quality from what I’ve seen and I imagine Hyam will fit into the same bracket. If Phillips signs a new deal and we’re able to get a quality attacking addition, 2 if Diaz leaves, then I’m happy with our window. Though wished we had got eveything done earlier. There’s no need for 2 CBs IMO.
  17. 100% a desperation signing. I was so positive as couple fo weeks ago but losing faith. lots of reports that Hyam is on his way to. Coventry sources saying bid has been accepted
