  1. He's going to go on to control games knows when to keep it simple and when to push on.
  2. I'd prefer to play dack in where SS plays but in away games like this I'd play morton alongside the other two in cm and try and control the middle
  3. Can't believe the ref blew up for the pen as the ball was cut back even a further second and its a goal
  4. With a few new contracts signed since the close of the window I'd argue he's moved on to this side of things since then.
  5. Why are we even talking about him being a striker it's a bizarre idea coming from nowhere
  6. Only allowed to sign for 3 years as a 17 year old.
  7. A bit of a stinging indictment of the last regime no forward planning Venus as director of football letting many players run down contracts while the manager at the time advised staff to leave instead of ensuring that they stayed to help the club.
  8. He has had a bit of a tough time of things over the last few years.
  9. I'd take surridge as our final signing of the window
  10. Mola can play cm plus after how morton and Wharton played last night we have 5 for two spots plus garrett possibly edun.
  11. If we can't get replacements in then I'm afraid we just have to reject any offers. Two forwards minimum before we sign off on any sale
  12. Well it has to stick with him better than it has with the void we have had up top the last few games surely
  13. I happen to think that a powerful target man in the middle is exactly what we need hopefully he will be able to hold the ball up and bring players into the game at the right end of the pitch. Davies at forest last year and villa before that has 8 goals in around 100 games but most would have been over the moon to get him a target man can be good and useful with out being prolific
  14. We are not spending 5m on him jesus If we spend 5m on him it's because he's deemed worth it there fore he will have a track record at this level
  15. We are not we are loaning him if he's not worth 5m we won't pay it
  16. The option price is 5m we know it and si di they so they must not see it as prohibitive or they would not have bothered inserting it in the deal
  17. Not seen Hirst play but if he's a target man who can help pin there center backs in and compete for crosses then it will be an improvement on what I saw yesterday.
  18. That's very true but he got both calls wrong inside 30 seconds which kinda summed up his whole day there was one on Dolan after he just came on got behind them and was taken out both ref and linesman did nothing
  19. Tbf was a nailed on pen for us followed up by a def red for them the ref gets both wrong
  20. It's harder to get the foreign signings in now they have to meet the wp threshold and the still have to apply for a permit with our vacuum at the top lasting so long domestic was probably seen as the way to go this window at least.
  21. I'd imagine the sense lies in the fact the players brought in will be on less a week than it would have cost us to extend the contracts of those who have left which gets us closer to the 90% mark that we have to meet while agents fees and transfer fees can be covered in the losses made by the owners we still have to be trying too hit that 90% mark.
