I happen to think that a powerful target man in the middle is exactly what we need hopefully he will be able to hold the ball up and bring players into the game at the right end of the pitch. Davies at forest last year and villa before that has 8 goals in around 100 games but most would have been over the moon to get him a target man can be good and useful with out being prolific

I'd imagine the sense lies in the fact the players brought in will be on less a week than it would have cost us to extend the contracts of those who have left which gets us closer to the 90% mark that we have to meet while agents fees and transfer fees can be covered in the losses made by the owners we still have to be trying too hit that 90% mark.
