i was thinking pens too. zidane won't want to go out on a wimper though but i think spain may just be too strong for the french this time round.

if ghana can play a high tempo physical game, then they might cause brazil some problems. the brazilian defence isn't as young as it once was and me for one have been well impressed with some of ghana's attacking play in this world cup although their finishing has to be more clinical. saying that though, how are ghana going to keep out the supreme brazilian forward line, ronaldo looks as though he's finally woken up and ronaldiniho still hasn't set his usuall standard. i'm going 3-1 brazil.

del piero starting is a bit of a surprise.
-
i sent it to my mate, his name was shaito!!! ha ha i said exactly how you play mate ha ha
-
i'll agree with that, the only way you could compare them is in the world cup and that really isn't to fair either as rooney has not played as many games and is recovering from injury. two different kind of players imo too.

STEPHSON #10 NICK NAMES WOULD BE....PRINHO #10 OR ISLAO #10

thats what i have been doing, our activity in the transfer market on incoming players is well slow at the moment, it doesn't really bother me though as these things do take time and hughes wants to bring in the right faces. i'm going on holiday soon and i wan't our new shirt with a new signing on the back, the sooner the better, our number 10 is up for grabs too, does anyone remember the fuss i made when dickov had it of jansen -
can't beleve i'm 2nd....well pleased with that. suffered 2 blows yesterday and saturday though, had sweden to turn over the germans and holland to defeat portugal, gutted. starting to look slightly pear shaped.

Players Who Are Gonna Score A Multi-million Pound Move
Presty On Tour replied to Tango's topic in World Cup 2006
from the gossip section from the sunday papers, about 6 or 7 ghana players have been linked the premiership clubs. -
from the photo and news coverage i seen, it only seens to be a minority and germans are causing more problems than anyone else. i think though if the germans lose to argentina then it will really kick off.
-
the winning goal by argentina was awsome, one of the best goals of the tournament by a mile. maxi's technique to control it from a angled pass on the chest and leather it into the corner was immense. cole's goal was class , but not in the same league.
-
quality photos mate, looks like your having a well good laugh out there i hope the aussies send the italians packing tonight, viduka is due a goal and with the support of sydney rovers and the aussie nation it should be a great match. the aussies just have to take their chances.

1/4 finals now and we still have not played well. winning when your not palying well wins trophy's though. i wish sge would give lennon a longer run out, he only had 5 mins and loooked dangerous everytime he had the ball. joe cole was knackered and got subbed for bloody scouser j.c. nothing against the liverpool player but wouldn't it of just been easier to bring on lennon for cole instead of re-shuffling the defense and the midfield all about? it's revenge time now for 2004!!!

i don't think the ref will be seen again for a while. when ever there was a foul he seemed to bring out a card, i was waiting for his assistant to get booked for flagging for off-side!!! the ref never had control, i really wanted the game to go to extra time, 9 v 9 with so many players on yellow cards too would of been facinating(sp) to watch. ruud didn't look to happy did he!!! england will win the q/f against portugal but it will be still difficult.
-
fairplay what a quality match, one of the best of the world cup so far. it had everything and a bit more, shame about emerton but at the end of the day, well done to the aussies..
-
it was a harsh pen, if england went out to a penalty decision like that there would be riots!!! i felt sorry for usa going home before the postcards, after the battle against italy, i thought they would get past ghana. they just didn't take their chances and the refs didn't help much this year either.
-
2nd yellow card for handball, the croatia player pinged it at him from a fairly short distance, he probably could have made more of an effort to move his hand out the way but still it was well unlucky to recieve a yellow card for it. poll has something against rovers, remember the theatre of nightmares 2nd leg of the carling cup? celebrity referee!!!
-
some of the refs seem to spoiling alot of the matches recently, they like to be the centre of attention imo. argentina have stood out and fairplay to australlia they have been entertaining. overall the standard os alright, i think the games will get alot better now. the teams have had time to gel togehter and knock out fottie is more exciting than the group games. it's all or nothing.
-
still top, 3rd in my works league though grrrrrrr
-
i thought the pen was harsh on the usa, it's going to take one hell of a performance now.
-
dramani after 22 mins for ghana! oh dear.
-
i think they might have done with giggs and ronaldo either side? i have no proof though

with the new jersey realeased this summer i was planning on buying it with bellamy 11 on the back obviously with the events of the past few days it looks like this will be a daft thing to do, so i thought pedersen and 12, but then with the number 10 unused and the number 11 departing maybe there will be some changes? last season tugay went to number 16 with savage taking the number 8 for example. you would look a bit of a idiot with the wrong number eh? does anybody know when they are released for this season or know of any changes i would we well happy?
-
any reason why bobby convey has been dropped? luca toni is also been dropped to the bench for italy?
