Thought Dyche was nailed on for Watford. I was fully expecting Rob Edwards to be one that we would go for with who is agents are. I'd definitely be having a go for Dyche.
If farke is a no go then I would be all over Dyche now too. I also thought he was Watford bound
-
Well Rob Edwards definitely can be scrapped. Done the dirty on FGR by all accounts. Negotiating with Watford behind his chairman's back.

Seen a post on twitter claiming that Venus is also leaving but Johnson and Lowe staying.
No surprises but if true forget about Farke, Dyche or anyone decent. Nobody like that will be told who he has to have on his staff
If anyone stays hopefully it's Johnson. I wouldnt say it's particularly unusual for somebody from the previous set up staying on. Kenny kept Tony Parkes on after all. Even the top guys like to have someone around who knows the club.

Pretty sure that that was rumoured to be another wealthy Indian chap who was connected to cricket in some way.
There's nothing whatsoever to suggest the Issa brothers have any interest in the Club.
I've heard both tales but not sure either were true. The one with the Issa brothers was along the lines of their dad was deeply religious and buying a football club was akin to gambling or something and he wouldn't approve and besides they were fans of Liverpool or utd, can't remember which. The other owned a ipl cricket franchise

So I've taken the punt on Woodgate at 33. With my betting ability I expect an announcement from the man himself imminently to rule himself out🤞. Thank me later 😂

After that interview last week, I am convinced Mowbray is staying too.
If not, what's happened to Steve McLaren ? - NOT ADVOCATING him in any way but I bet Venky's advisors would see him as pluckable from the same scrapheap where they found Mowbray all those years ago.
I heard rumours some time ago that Venkys wanted a foreign appointment next. Maybe Steve was putting on his best Dutch 'acshent'

I see Chris Wilder has joined the back slapping of TM. That's a shame as I really liked him, but that's turned me off him a bit. I dare say those comments will find there way to Pune though.

Yeah surely we can't lose it from here? Draw a possibility but if we play like that again in the 2nd half we'll cruise it. Where the f8ck was this desire and intensity for the last 3 months though?
Sadly we only turn up for one half

What do you expect him to say, "I want Mowbray sacked" and "us players don't believe in what the manager does?"
If he came out in the media and said stuff like that, it would genuinely reflect bad on him and the players to be honest.
Why people allow themselves to get so wound up by token media soundbites is beyond me.
Then you seemingly have lost all perspective.
Agree with the first response not so much the second. I'd be interested to hear Bradley Johnsons opinion on TM though

I want Burnley or Everton to go down in that order. Looking at fixtures though I think Leeds are screwed. Just had £20 on them at 5/1 to be relegated

The arrogance of Scousers
This, and the fact the fans protested against the Portuguese managerial appt and demanded Lampard, I would love em to go down, if only it didn't mean the dingles would be safe.

Atleast this season it doesn't seem like he's having a late season revival which has felt is what has kept his job the last 2 years
It's probably because it can't be officially classed as a dead rubber. We'll probably win the last couple after the play offs are mathematically impossible. Then a new contract incoming.

As exciting as that sounds if the money is available to make such exciting purchases it's not a good way of working to not have alternatives waiting if they don't come off.
If they don't come off?!! Nothings coming off us it. I'm done with today. What a fucking let down. Another week of tease by TM suggesting deals are close and as usual totally underwhelming.

Gutted we seemed to have missed out on maja, I really do think he will tear up this league
We need a striker before deadline we really do, someone that can chip in a fair few goals
I fancy he's more likely to tear a hamstring. Assuming he doesn't do his back first. I can't say I'm overly bothered about missing out on this one.

Reports from France that a championship club are in advanced talks over a perm deal for him. If you put 2and2 together it’s looks likely to be us, could be wrong tho
Birmingham supporting friend of mine says they are in talks with Maja. He's usually pretty clued up

Anyone with an idea who this foreign lad were meant to be bringing is?
Could be any old randomer. No one saw Deyo coming in, Tbh I'd never even heard of him.

Magloire heading to Northampton on loan according to nixon

Did Sharp say European forward or European based. I wouldnt be a tall surprised if it wasn't maja or Healey but someone we've not heard of. And yes I'm well aware those 2 players are still European before any smart arse points it out 🙄

Good avoidance, I can only assume we'll get Lenihan extended? If the management are good they can get contracts extended
Agreed. Wasn't comfortable with this one due to his terrible injury record.

Didn't Mowbray the other day say they're looking to sign young strikers on permanent deals to develop and sell on?
I think he did yes

Would think Venkys would be delighted to get Markanday in. A player of Indian descent. Might even spark some interest within the family. We can only hope

Which utterly brilliant manager will we be delighted to welcome next?

No thanks. But I'd take Billy Barr back for the youth set up.
