You’re right, and what a surprise… I think at one point this season, we had 11 clean sheets in 15. I have to say, Wharton, Nyambe, Lenihan, JPvH, were exceptional earlier in the season. Kaminski, good all year.

Are we missing anyone for this fixture due to yellow card accumulation?

Rovers history vs Posh, 6 wins, 3 losses, certainly not a rivalry or grudge match. However, the reverse fixture marked the beginning of our 6-game win streak (it seems so long ago!), and at the time many of us believed it was the start of Rovers’ promotion push. It was; the start and end of it. I would like to believe we still have a hope of promotion, a reason for Rovers to give their best effort and excitement amongst our fan base. Sadly, the opportunity, the moment, seems to have passed us by. Since the beginning of March, Rovers have managed to get 6 points from 21 possible- the performance relegations are made of. A season-best crowd of 17,806 vs Blackpool, a day to honor Tony Parkes, and a mighty push toward the end of the season, alas, came to a poor effort. Good Friday, might be good to Rovers. A 1-0 win would be enough to lift our mood somewhat, but not enough to restore this once promising season, to hope of achieving glory, and promotion. Sadly, a 1-0 win, over the 24th team on the table, will have to suffice.

All talk of his transfers, loans, dispositions on the pitch, etc, aside, to me, it comes down to one thing: His Major accomplishment at the club was promoting out of League 1. That’s ancient history now. it’s simply time to move on.

My mind is numb, after the last three months. Clean house this summer, even if we might lose a jewel or two amongst the dross, but let’s start afresh next season. It’s almost better playing for 18th, than being tantalized with promotion fantasies every week.

Fans showed up strong- 17,806. The best crowd since Preston game, back during the winning streak. Unfortunately, many of them have probably seen enough, won’t return when we play Stoke, what should be a winnable game.

We’re just not going anywhere. Time to give someone else a try. Find someone who at least looks interested, and has some joy about what he’s doing.

With a solid starting 11, I was really hopeful about regaining a playoff spot today, but not now. This manager looks lifeless and his players appear to be emulating him at this point. There’s so much to play for, yet the team doesn’t appear to be on fire about the opportunity. I cannot understand it.

Considering the strong 11 we’ve got today, two two leads late recently, and the poor run since the New Year, just more fuel for the fire.

Ty, you’re probably right. Hopefully, we get 60 minutes out of ‘em. We had better have a 2-0 lead when they go off the pitch, I cannot see us defend nearly as well without them.

I sincerely hope 3,700 go home disappointed. Goodness knows we’ve had plenty of disappointments.

Absolutely. We’ve slipped to 8th; three pts could get us back in playoff places, pending other results. However, I’m afraid our flirtation with promotion has left us for good. Other suitors have left us in the dust, and kicked sand in our face.

Anything else (for reasons other than injury), and I would assume Mowbray isn’t interested in winning. I really haven’t given the guy a bad time, but it’s getting very hard to defend anything he does anymore.

If we could pull of consecutive wins (Blackpool, @P’boro), this would put us firmly in the race for a playoff spot. Will this happen? Nah. But I will say, 2-1 on Saturday. COYB!
