I can’t see why they would want Gelhardt…They’ve just bought Archer on Loan. Either he or Archer wouldn’t get guaranteed game time which wouldn’t be ideal for parent clubs.

You’d like to hope the less activity we produce this window leaves us more for the summer… Im sure we will see a striker come in this window and if budgets are that tight then we will have to leave it at that & make do…. Like I said if it means more money in the pot for summer, I’d rather us wait & bring in players then.

Looks like he’s out of contract in summer so could be possible for pre contract. Not keen on sources from football league world so could be rubbish. If he’s pace & has an attacking threat then worth bribing in. Even though Pickering has been steady this season, we need someone with pace in that position.

Like the Anel situation….We probably were at the front of the cue with regards to interest. It only takes a Sheff United, Watford, Boro to come in and offer an extra 25% wage increase - No brainer but not sure why we didn’t offer a pre-contractual agreement? Like Diaz is supposedly doing…Not sure.

Just seen a post on the Watford Forum…They’re saying the deal for Porteous is done and he’s defiantly going there. Would make sense & would be worrying now we have Hyam out & Ayala suspended.

Thought someone on here said we’d more or less got Porteous over the line? Suppose that means nothing until they’ve actually signed. Watford could easily out bid us salary wise so yeah most likely he’ll be going there.

Buckley is suited to play further forward…. I’d still have him starting over anyone else we have in the centre of the park that’s fit. We need A Wharton back & fit.
