Very worried about this one...They will want a reaction after their thrashing today...A draw would be a great result. 3-1 City. -

Hendriksson on a yellow and pulling a shirt whilst they were on the break...He needs to come off asap or he'll be sent off. -

Gudjohnsson has done well up until that ball on the break then! So so poor, could of caught them. -

Interesting table which tells us we are in a false position with the quality of chances we create...Tells us everything about the quality we have uptop, need to start converting more. -

They missed 2 sitters, we missed 2 sitters and scored 2...Think we deserved the win really. -

I like Alebiosu, give him space and he will cause any full back problems. However to be critical of him, he does look clumsy and his final ball can be awful...Him being one of our star players says how low this squad has fallen. He would be an average Joe in any other championship team. -

Our XG all season has been quite positive...We just lack quality uptop. Our friends at Derby are a prime example of smash and grab last time I looked. -

Wouldn't have dropped Hendriksson, thought he's looked quite good the past 2 games. -

Last chance for Val for me. Win would be nice but a loss and the manager should instantly be sacked...Let's see if RG has any bottle shall we. -

Hendriksson starting to grow in confidence. He seems to be everywhere...Like the look of him so far. -

What other options do we have??? He is literally our only choice, he's shown glimpses and like all strikers works on confidence...He needs a goal. -

I would start with the same team. I personally thought Ohashi and Gudjohnsson battled well yesterday, the latters time will come. We need a win. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
BankEnd Rover replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yep, im giving him the next 2 games to come up with some points. We've been playing okay but his stats don't lie and there's a reason we are where we are - If we loose both games then the club HAVE to sack him. -

BankEnd Rover replied to ...'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
We could easily be rock bottom come this time next week...Squad depth will really come back to bite us. We played well today, but it was inevitable that Coventry would come back into it. Based on performances I would agree we are in a false position but not by bloody much. -

We look good and not for the first time away this season....We will huff n puff but quality is lacking, expect Coventry to step up this half. -
Augustus Kargbo

And he's admitted and opened up to it...Good interview and what fans want to hear...He's clearly a confidence player, that sitter against Norwich must of knocked him. -

Under Val we will struggle, but we are not nailed on to go down...Ipswich result stands and it's a different story. -

Something off with him definitely...cameo against Plymouth last season he was unplayable...He looked good in our final pre-season as well (against a good side) - Writings on the wall for him now I feel. -

BankEnd Rover replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Looks like he's had that much abuse he's deactivated his instagram account - If that's the reason, it's totally unacceptable! I hope Kargbo can find his feet, certainly doesn't have much a football brain but has shown glimpses. -

BankEnd Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
That was beyond a terrible performance. Charlton looked awful and we didn't lay a glove on them. Not getting too upset over it as we've put in some decent performances over the last few games. I'm still confident that Val isn't the man - Happy to be proved wrong but with all what's going on off the pitch we will be milling around bottom half all season. -

Intrigued see Hedges play if this is true. We all know he doesn't have the pace to beat his man on the wing but feel he may suit a number 10 role. Or is it a 3 uptop and 5 at the back? Looking forward to seeing Gudjohnsen, he's looked sharp, he'll be more effective than Ohashi.
