  1. Big week. We are promised 6 new signings....
  2. Its probably simply what happens when they go on sale earlier. We have been telling them this.
  3. An attacking midfielder who can score goals (double figures) is exactly what we need if we have any desire to be pushing for promotion. I read the stats for Rothwell last week and it is alarming just how consistently poor he actually is. Good riddance. 3 goals is useless. Buckley also incapable in that particular role. Rothwell will now slip into obscurity. he became a regular fixture in the side in his favoured central role, with 2021/22 his best season in terms of appearances (43), goals (3) and assists (10) as he played a key part in Rovers’ push for the play-offs.
  4. This is the key point. There is the churn of people having a ST one season (but not attending all games) then being a casual walk on the next season, and vice versa. Various personal reasons for that. But the club didn't lift a finger to get new fans and grow the attendances. Nothing. In fact their pricing actively discourages it. So the attendance will be 11K - 13K depending on away support. Add 1500 if we are doing well. Unlikely if we are going into bat with the U23 prospects.
  5. If we reach 8K, get entered into a raffle to win jelly and ice cream
  6. Otherwise known as 23380 empty seats.
  7. We will probably sign a 17yo prospect and then the week will come and go.
  8. I may have missed it... did we sign Cantwell?
  9. Unless you can provide hard evidence to dispute this fact then it is clearly true. No amount of blathering will chance facts.
  10. We won't sell many more unless we unveil a marquee signing or two. Exciting players sell tickets. Lots of them. Although they are talking about using the U23s so that seems far fetched. 8000 total or in other words... 23000 empty seats.
  11. There is no back up. They have made it up. It is not published anywhere because it hasn't happened.
  12. Can only be down to those 3 year old back of the bus adverts. #valueformoney
  13. A - well we have appointed a new manager after the completely useless last one was let go at the end of his contract. I guess that's just to be expected. Kind of what happens. B - no it hasn't. Nonsense. C - maintaining your property. Wow. Almost unheard of. Although lets see if anything actually happens. Next you will be telling us the Venkys have undergone a recent QEGS education and have changed. Laughable.
  14. Poor Steve, only sold 7500 STs and out of ideas, finally resorts to reading our ideas. Looking for that one innovative suggestion where higher prices will mean more sales. Try firing Suhail. Oh you can't.
  15. JDT has committed to a 3 year deal. WILL YOU ? Sign up for the new 3 year ST NOW. 400 this season, 380 next season, 360 the season after.... Regardless of which division we are in. We Are Rovers ('Til We Die)
  16. They could scrap the £30 Waggott Tax and take a bold new direction. Get onto your lapsed friends and family and bring them back to the Rovers family. If we sell over 10,000 then every ST holder gets a £30 reduction. At 10,000 with the discount handed out, they would be half a million quid up on selling 8000 at £400. £100K for his addition pitch costs he keeps moaning about. Still £400K growth.
  17. Steve Waggott only knows what the sales are because he is checking Goozburger's daily spreadsheet on here. Give yourself a complimentary ST GB. Had to laugh at him admitting to that. "I’ve seen all the social media about counting the seats, we’ve sold tickets quicker this year than we’ve ever sold them."
  18. Don't be naive. That has been spent on renting a training ground from some Indians.
  19. Those who sit in the JWU choose to pay more and sit there vs paying lower prices. Are you suggesting JWU ST holders would be against match day tickets being £20 and prefer the ground to be 2/3 empty ?
  20. It shouldn't matter how much it costs, if it needs doing, the owners should pay for it and instruct Waggot to "get it done".
  21. When I had a ST, I literally never sat in the seat on the card. Usually I would move at HT as well. Same on the odd occasion I have bought a match ticket since. Same when I go away. Couldn't think of anything worse than seeing the same faces and listening to the same opinions week after week.
  22. A ST is £17.35 per game allegedly. So £20 in no way compromises that ?
