Age and potential a big factor in why there would be different feelings to be fair. I still feel like if Wharton had stayed till the summer we’d have got a good chunk more just through there being more teams able to bid for him.

I get the Venkys suspicion in general but didn’t the club also fork out to take the case to appeal twice? Why on earth would they then bother blowing money on that if they were already so keen to save the money from the deal? They could have just not bothered…

I’m not disputing that he could go and I wouldn’t blame him if he did. But questioning why that would make us better on the pitch and put in our best performance of the season/recent times. Just can’t see a connection there.

Only a couple and they were diabolical. Saw the Coventry game online after paying a tenner and wanted my money back after 15 minutes. I hope it’s one of those like Farke at Norwich where the he 2nd season is a lot better. But league position (at times) aside, this season has been a bag of shite.
