  1. adam is having a fine game, palace defending gallently and always have an outball with mateta
  2. considering mgp was a fine header of a ball,im`e still wondering how he missed, must have been fate😫
  3. i hope palace give them a game and don`t bottle it,eze and matete are a handful to anybody,so i hope they don`t give city to much respect
  4. most likely luck more than judgement but i think we`de have been in oblivion if it had`nt been for last 3 decent managers (mowbray, jdt and eustace) not sure who picked them but all of them in their own way have saved us from a complete nosedive through the leagues imo it`s damning indicement of how generally badly the club is run as 2 of them have both walked away and the other one did`nt even get the sentiment of being offered a new deal, despite him being here for 5 years, whether ismael continues to keep us in the division i do not know,i suspect however he`ll do the same as his predecesors and walk away as well, anyone with any idea of progression is in the wrong job here
  5. jason roberts,or jigsaw as we used to call him🙂
  6. think you are being very kind to him,for me,he did`nt to anything to suggest he could play at this level let alone the top league,he looks a mirror image of adam moran, lightweight, unwilling to his body into tackles and a typical academy product,i suspect premier league full backs would have an easy afternoon with him ayari always looked a decent player,he never got an extented run to show himself here, was a bit of pointless loan imo,we certainly never got the best out of him
  7. good signing for them if true, plenty of experience at this level and above, not sure they`ll be paying him 50k a week tbh
  8. squeaky **** who is hyperactive and more punchable than scott parker,if thats possible!!!,i`ll be rooting for orient
  9. i know wembley is a great leveller but id`e be very surprised if sheff utd don`t get promoted
  10. cannot believe how deep sunderland have sat, they are at home ffs and are hardly playing paris st germain
  11. sunderland extremely negative tonight and lucky not to be behind,on this evidence sheff utd will be comfy winners against either of these two
  12. he`s not been offered new contract, neither have tronsdadt or travis,no talks have taken place picked up for 25k from hereford, thats what i call a bargain
  13. the three that went up and came straight back down did so because they were far to open and tried to out play superior opponents, there was no plan to grind out games and thus they were all cut apart in 75% of the games they played in st vincent kompanies burnley were a case in question,it`s absolute folly to try and outpass a superior footballing side, you will lose every week and when you start losing that badly ,it`s very hard to turn it round
  14. my dad was team mates with gordon taylor when they were both in the reserves at bolton in the early 60`s,he was said he was a right big headed w*****r!!!,franny lee was also in and about the reserves due to his varying levels of fitness!!!! and they had a small lad called alan ball coming through the ranks, who they rather stupidly released, stating he was to small😁
  15. spurs and man utd lucky that the three promoted clubs are terrible and got their approach to staying in the premier league completely wrong, any other season and we could have seen two massive clubs plunging into the championship🤣frankly both of them are embarrasing
  16. woodman is about as much use as pears (absolute *****) and riis has`nt been the same player since his injury, hardly compares with travis, sonny and brittain, who are all approaching the peak of their careers
  17. despite how seemingly parsimonious they are with the money, ridsdale and the hemmings family at least run the club properly, they would`nt be letting their 3 best players run their contracts down
  18. if we are recruiting from the lower leagues(nothing wrong with that if the player is young, open to improvement and a potential sell on) when i would`nt mind seeing kwame poku from peterborough here, going to be a list of clubs after him though unfortunately for us
  19. our midfield is going to be stacked next year😀what you construe it to stacked with is completely up to you,the rest of the forumites!!!!!!!!
  20. i think he found his level at chesterfield tbh
  21. good luck mr cairney, you`ll need it working with this lot of planks, one bit of advice, don`t be good at the job, thats a sure way to get sacked here at rovers😁
  22. the non promotion project enters it`s 14th year, maybe they won`t need the annual january **** it up phase this year
  23. they never fail to amaze me with their complete disregard for their target market, are they just being complete ***** and hate the fans or have they just got an i.q of 50
