  1. how bad will it get before tony the tactical marvel gets the boot,i think it`s in the players hands, they can`t be happy being shuffled here, there and everywhere, apart from bennett and williams who mowbray treats like prodigal children, the rest of them must thinking about going upstairs and making their case about underachieving,we should be comfortably in the top ten with the squad we`ve got, with a few additions next season we could be challenging for a play off place, give johnson the job,he knows the players, knows their strengths and unlike mowbray,he is`nt into the total nepotism of picking players he likes, even though they make mistakes every week and are generally not up to the job
  2. imminent sign that evans will be a regular and holtby won`t get anywhere near his best position of centre midfield, tbh he could have one leg and still contribute more than corry, mowbray must think he`s not fit enough and far to maverick,is`nt it strange that some players in the squad are, according to tony not quite fit enough yet,the mowbray scale of fitness is a complete mystery to me
  3. yeah,he`ll replace him at full back with gallagher?
  4. tony needs a bang on the head(unintentionally of course) i once did a few weeks for a landscaping company, one of my colleagues got whacked in the head by the jcb bucket, after being in a kind of semi coma for a few days,he woke up and had a completely different personality, before he was a bit of a miserable git after the accident he was the life and soul of the party?
  5. nothing against keane,he was a world class player, but this is his major problem,he simply can`t understand why his players can`t do what he used to do and thats why he gets frustrated and thus his management record is pretty poor,it happens to loads of world class players, they usually make terrible managers because they can`t manage or understand players who ar`nt as good as they were, bobby moore for example was a shocking manager,so was bobby charlton
  6. lol,the phrases free role, run riot, get forward, attack, get down the wing, beat the full back, get the cross in quickly, make the final pass count and overlapping fullback are enough to make mowbray put you on the transfer list, you can imagine him bawling at you at half time,"don`t ever do stuff like that again" or "how dare you use that language in my dressing room"
  7. the most frustrating aspect of the mowbray tenure is the fact we are defensively inept but very good going forwards,so what does tony do??he has us playing defensively, trying to nullify the oppostion,i really can`t understand it,we might as well go on the offensive, granted we`ll concede goals, but we`re doing that now without scoring,i honestly think we`ve got the nucleus of a decent side,it just needs someone to come in with a complete new mindset, who knows,we might even get manager who thinks playing with two strikers is`nt a mortal sin
  8. you`ll have to ask mowbray that question,it`s beyond my realms of comprehension
  9. harry chapman will never get picked by mowbray,he could score 3 hat tricks in a row, toast full backs everyhere and play like he`s damian duff the 2nd,i guarantee he would`nt get picked because he has`nt got a defensive bone in his body
  10. holloway is the complete polar opposite of mowbray,we are likely to play four up front if he`s manager and we`ll get better post match interviews
  11. anyone wanting chris hughton should look to the reason why he was sacked at brighton,he had them playing containing, boring football which did`nt produce goals and let a lot in,sounds like a certain mr tony mowbray imo
  12. i can see rothwell moving on and then lighting up the division,it`s a matter of giving the lad a run of games in a settled system,i can remember franz carr being sold to forest for next to nothing then going on to be absolutely electric for them, they are both the same type of player
  13. does anyone know what mowbrays beef with graham is about,he was reluctant to pick him last year, this year he`s totally ignored him, supposed to play your best players aint you!!!!!!!!!!
  14. be nice if damian johnson got a chance, did well for the u23`s,he might turn out to be everything we want and need
  15. id`e be depressed playing in mowbrays team, everything is about containment,i don`t know the phobia phrase for attacking but he generally is suffering from it,i can`t believe nobody in the dressing room has`nt gone beserk and told him " f**k off tony you`re tactics are s**t"
  16. look on the bright side, there are 5 sides worse than us,coupled with our home form we should avoid relegation this year?
  17. unbelievably he`s spent 11 million quid on two of these sacred strikers, one who is patently bloody useless and the other he maroons out on the wing or up front on his own
  18. he needs a run of 10/15 games, tell him to concentrate on only getting crosses in and beating the full back
  19. mowbray hates rothwell, clearly does`nt like chapman,in fact if you`ve got any attacking instinct, you might as well hand in a transfer request, dack must be doing tony favours to get included every week
  20. mowbray sets the team up not to concede,we are not likely to see shots flying in,all the more frustrating for me because our biggest strength is going forwards, why he insists on containment with a terrible defence is a mystery to me
  21. one big worry about venkys giving tony the order of the boot is the fact they are more than capable of appointing someone worse?
  22. he never does enough for me and bennett is a bits and pieces player,he should`nt even be starting
  23. gally was injured last week,it`s odds on that mowbray won`t risk him,bet he puts armstrong up front on his own, followed by multiple long balls hit towards him
  24. no doubt tinkering tony will come up with a new plan to nullify leeds,or try to ,if only he did`nt worry about the opposition so much and just played football,we actually do posess some pretty good players, maybe he`ll go back for the hib job, they like him up there as well
  25. staying away from elland road, every time iv`e been we`ve got slaughtered, from being stuffed 5-1 in the kenny era to losing to peter reid`s cache of loan signings at the fag end of souness reign, last year was the ultimate though?,still ,a strange feeling we`ll get a point out of it though guessing tony`s team is akin to winning the lottery
