I also think Tosin will come back, he’s not likely to break through at City and if he’s shipped off to the championship on loan again then we’d be front of the line

Didn't work like that with Reed. And we might not be able to afford Tosin again, especially if Citeh ask Rovers to pay a higher chunk of his wages.

With a 12 point start, I would expect us to fInish above Sheffield Wednesday. I would like us to have a positive goal difference all season, and to concede less than 40 goals. What do you expect?

Less than 40 goals???!  Is that before Christmas or for the whole season. If it's for the whole season we're probably going up as champions. Good times.

Ha you scoff, but they do offer one... tight Blackburner like me won’t pay it though!

I might be joining you. The staff at the DW gym I go to have just been told they are out of a job tomorrow as the gym is shutting. Feel for them, a days notice is just wrong.

So one day Rich Sharpe hasn't spoken to Mowbray or Waggott, the next he knows who we haven't bid for, when realistically those two are the only ones who can confirm what we have done.

I suspect he is hedging his bets. He's probably right too, we will be some way off making any signings.

Surely the head of recruitment will know as well. I'm sure there a few at the club who know the players we're in for. Sharpe will have contacts, if he hasn't he's doing something very wrong.

They’ve blown a big opportunity to really grow the club with the constant wrangling over the ground. Large and affluent catchment area, there was a massive waiting list for season tickets, but of course with a 10,000 capacity ground you aren’t getting them in.

That waiting list will now miraculously disappear and they’ll probably be back in the third tier at some point and back down to 4/5,000 crowds.

Their PL legacy seems to be massive debt and enriched players and agents.

I thought they had a Russian Oligarch funding them? If he stays they'll be fine.

Not easy though when you're Bournemouth how do you attract the kind of players good enough to improve your Prem standing ?

Either got to offer money way above your station or just hope they all want to live in a nice area.  He probably should have altered their style a bit don't think he has that in his locker.

He hasn't done as well as Dyche and no fecker wants to live in Burnley!

After taking a small club from the brink of relegation to non league football to the Premier League, I think he can be forgiven for one relegation.

He's done a great job overall, my point was more about how much money he's wasted on poor signings in the last couple of years.

no way is buckley ready for the hustle and bustle of the championship,he needs 3 months in the lower leagues to learn how to look after himself,as for the other two,i think they are ok though no doubt mowbray will either play them out of position or ignore them

I think Butterworth and JRC are better than OK. Agree that Buckley looks lightweight but you can tell he's a talented footballer. I haven't seen Vale yet but Mowbray raves about him so he's another one. We won't be far off a 1st team of Academy Grads soon.

Yeah, Butterworth really seemed promising, I hope his injury doesn't derail his progress.

JRC I like, have heard a lot more good stuff about his U23s performances. I'm not sure he's what you'd call creative though from what I've seen, in terms of unlocking tight defences. Dack, Holtby, Buckley & Rothwell all have that in their locker.

Check out the pass made at Sheff Wed to set up one of our goals. Perfectly weighted and the type only played by players who have good awareness, vision and intelligence.

Dack - if he goes, point accepted, but then we can look to replace. But he is our most creative player, and we missed him for what, 25 games?

Rothwell - agreed he needs to find more consistency, but he has a style that frightens opponents. He's still worth sticking with imo, though I have wavered in that opinion over his time here.

Holtby - think that's a massive exaggeration; he's a player without natural pace but has natural flair. Similar to Tugay in the respect, albeit a few rungs lower down the ladder.

Buckley & BB - I think both of these showed more in the last 9 games than they did previously. They both have attributes to frighten defenders. Encouraging signs from both to build upon next season.

But I get the apprehension. I'm not saying it's the bee's knees, just less of a problem than is often made out.

I'm looking forward to seeing Buckley, JRC and Butterworth next season. I think all 3 can be very good Championship players if they are given a proper run in their correct positions and are guided right. All 3 are talented.

This so called season when i or you can walk on ..? Enter Ewood and take a seat ?

Ah I see. Well, that's the crux. There will have to be a stipulation that the club takes no responsibility for games that can't be watched live due to future lockdowns etc. This is pretty much what Waggott imposed retrospectively when he refused refunds on last years missed matches.

I'm sure all clubs will cover themselves legally and state ST's are bought with the understanding that all matches can be watched either on ifollow or live at the ground, but not always both. For that reason ST's may be a cheaper this season.

If the club is struggling for cash flow and there are people like yourself willing to give their money knowing the situation is how it is then they are idiots for not getting them on the market as soon as was possible.

That's one way of looking at it.

Lets say the EFL allow 25% of Ewood capacity, that's about 7,800.  There's no way we'll sell that many ST's so they might as well put them on sale.
