  1. I still cant believe they didnt stay the course with Wilder.
  2. Their starting 11 is good so far, and usually at least one of their front three is good enough to score, but their subs are mid and Scarr has lapses of judgement now and then. They also play Palace tomorrow
  3. As a youngster it's weird seeing everyone wear collars, especially that ref's gigantic collar
  4. The salary cap is not RL in the UK's problem, from what I have read it's that most clubs have been poorly run and that without the salary cap things would be much worse. I could also blame the administrative bodies but there's just not enough money to go around because it's a regional code in the NH. I guess you could argue the NRL doesnt do enough internationally. The NRL has even a larger safety net and just as little parity, because the best young players want to play for the best and largest clubs. Even in systems designed for parity like American sports this happens; especially for neutrals, there is still the appeal of watching the best go at it.
  5. For what it's worth, it is generally not thought've as an international sportswashing operation as much as a domestic one. The international interest is mostly due to the younger generations (mostly in Africa, Asia and parts of North America) tending to be player fans and the atrophying of mainland European leagues and is unlikely to be a goal.
  6. I have a feeling all hells gonna break loose in Watford soon
  7. Lukaku blocking the equalizer will cement his reputation in the English-speaking world imo.
  8. This ruined one of Bolton's best shirts in years - it looks like a sad plea/demand.
  9. Manning's very unlikely at this point, it was initially hearsay but he's linked heavily with QPR. Neilson got a demoralized, relegated squad to conference league qualification and created a sort of siege mentality but his hoofball could damage the development of our youngsters and is too open with the media.
  10. Also apparently there's interest in Canada boss John Herdman from us, them and QPR. It's an interesting idea, but he has no experience at all in the club game. He has some impressive wins but it's such a different game and I think the Championship is too high-level to cut your teeth on. We've also been linked with the Wycombe and MK Dons bosses. I think the former is a solidly league one manager but Manning from Dons is slightly interesting. Also I know its a longshot but thoughts on Robbie Neilson?
