  1. Latest home ticket sales (via the Ticket Map SVG); JW Stand - 3926 BBW Lower - 2142 Riverside - 1014 All - 7082
  2. Since the revelation that the court hearing didn't go ahead, it looks like we're gonna end up selling Adam to pay the bills... If/when that happens, let the protests begin.
  3. Interesting post on one of the Palace forums; Suggests they've had people meet Adam and his family, discussing a move etc.
  4. Is this something you've heard through the grapevine Glen?
  5. An update on this; We've now sold ~6522 home tickets. (3617 in the JW, 1966 in the BBE Lower, 939 in the Riverside) Not bad, considering it's an early cup game on a cold Monday night, and against a teeny-tiny little League 2 club.
  6. 15m is way too low for Adam, and i'll be pissed if we even entertain it. He's a very rare talent, the kind of which we may not produce for a very long time. We need to squeeze out every penny that we can. I doubt he fancies a move to Palace for some reason, but if it turns out he actually does, i'd give them 2 options; A - 20m with a 25% sell-on clause. Plus, Rak-Sakyi permanently (with a 25% sell-on clause to you). or B - 25m with a 30% sell-on clause. We're in the driving seat for this one... - He's Rovers born and bred, and is in no rush to leave. - He has 4 years left on his contract. - Young and English, with massive potential. - He starts pretty much every match for the club he loves. - There are many other clubs with their eyes on him.
  7. Adam genuinely loves the club, and dreams of getting promoted with us - quite simply, I don't think he's anywhere near ready to leave his boyhood club. It'll take a lot more than £15m... and everyone knows it, including Gregg.
  8. Just read that Hearts won't entertain bids of less that £2m for Alex Cochrane... safe to say that we are completely out of that 'race' now.
  9. Let's be realistic, this might as well just say "Burnley and Ipswich are racing..."
  10. Although he's more for the future, i'm happy with the signing of O'Riordan. I've read some of the Crewe fan's reactions, and they pretty much all seem to think we've had their pants down getting him for 500k - pricing him more in the 2m region. On the other hand, we still desperately need experience... if they're spending that much on a kid, they'd better have more to spend on the more pressing matters - and can expect pelters if not!
  11. Perhaps the court hearing in India has happened then? I'd assume so, since we've been cleared to spend money...
  12. You can find out how many home tickets have been sold by inspecting the classes on the Ticket Map SVG, on the website. I've just checked, and found that we've sold around 5835 home tickets at this point. (3176 in the JW, 1790 in the BBE Lower, 869 in the Riverside)
  13. Correct. "Hold on, why are you trying to send £11m to the club? They've just sold Sam Gallagher for £2m, you only need to send £9m!" What a mess.
  14. All transfer dealings, no matter how cheap, have clearly been put on hold whilst we wait for the decision from the Indian court. Meanwhile, Clubs around us are strengthening. Our once great club is in freefall, desperately in need of reinforcements... and at the mercy of some judge in India who probably has no idea who we are. The next hearing will conveniently be scheduled in towards the end of the summer window too, so there'll be nothing to see there either. Get those wankers out of our club.
  15. You know the club is scraping the barrel when they can only afford to buy a bloke called Vicky.
  16. Following those injuries, I imagine we'll now be looking for a centre-back who can also play left-back... Realistically, how many more signings do we reckon we're actually gonna make this window? I can't see more than 2 personally... cheap ones too! The near-future is looking very grim.
  17. Hopefully sales pick up for this one over the next few days. Just bought my tickets when I found out it's our next game - I assume others will do the same! Realistically, early cup rounds never really pull in big crowds, let alone against League 2 opposition. Plus, a good chunk of our regulars might not be aware of Wrexham's current 'Hollywood' status, so will just see them as little minnows who aren't worth catching a cold for - and I agree with that... However, since their arrogant, plastic fans think they're the biggest team outside of the big 6, I really hope we bring a good couple thousand more than them, and give them a proper tonking.
  18. The poor bloke is probably sick of repeating himself regarding transfers, either that or he's had a telling off for all of the (well-deserved) digs he makes?
  19. 12 goals in a poor side (that got relegated) isn't too bad! That's more than Gally has ever had in a Championship season aint it?
  20. I'll be disappointed if we bring in Jutkiewicz. How much does it cost to buy 34 year-old Juke with 6 months on his contract? Not a lot, but 300k maybe? Brum are also paying him about 15k a week, apparently. There are much better options out there for that sort of money... like Jonson Clarke-Harris. Posh accepted a 500k bid from Charlton for him. He's strong, good in the air, only 29, scores more, and would cost half the wages. Plus, he's a former team-mate of our top boy, and the league's top-scorer Sammie Szmodics... Imagine him holding the ball up with Szmods just behind – it just makes sense. We need to hijack that deal!
  21. Would be interested to see what formations were used for those games/halves, with 2 centre-forwards fielded in each of them.
