  1. Two working legs and a squeegee my friend 👌
  2. Heard we’re also signing Eustace’s window cleaner to play on the left wing. He's shite at footy, but you know… Eustace knows him. (before anyone asks… yes, on loan obviously)
  3. Fully expecting a “Fancy one more? 👀“ in a few minutes… they’ll be delivering us more great news by announcing Forshaw.
  4. Pardon my French but… What a fucking shit fucking signing.
  5. For comparison… Last season Ipswich needed cover for Sam Morsy, they signed our captain (and one of our top earners) Lewis Travis who played until Morsy returned. Different levels of ambition.
  6. Adam Forshaw. Good lord - they’ve actually one-upped themselves with that one. They’re… evolving. The absolute stupid, shady, tight-fisted, cost-cutting, greedy, unambitious, short-sighted, embarrassing, shameless motherfuckers. We as fans deserve so much better, Venky’s out.
  7. I'll just put it down to the dingles being shite!
  8. Exactly this. I guarantee that Jonjo Shelvey will be an absolute beast in this league if Burnley land him, wish we were signing him.
  9. So you wouldn't take Shelvey at Rovers right now?
  10. Shelvey will rip up this league. Despite having one the best squads in the league already, Parker is being further backed with top players to help the dingles over the line... this is why yet again, they'll go up again first time of asking. Then you have our set of muppets.
  11. "Promotion to the Premier League was estimated in 2024 to be worth up to £265 million to the play-off final winner." - Over £40m in the last couple of years from players sales. ✅ - Reinvested practically fuck all back into the playing squad. ❌ - Against all odds, Eustace has us around the top 6.✅ - Awful amount of injuries to key players, no depth. ❌ - 6 games in the next 3 weeks. ❌ Our billionaire owners need to act now. If they just invested a mere £8m or so (less than a quarter of the income) into the playing squad, it'd massively boost our chances of reaching the play-offs, then possibly the PL... then they can recoup some of their losses, sell the Club and piss off. They are the stupidest, most disinterested assholes on the planet.
  12. A League One youngster, an ageing (reportedly overweight and past it) PL squad player and a Coventry benchwarmer... you're saying these are too good for Blackburn Rovers?! Hang your head in shame mate, seriously.
  13. Here's the snippet from the article which features said quote (remembered that the article is hidden behind a paywall, fortunately I know a way around it);
  14. Yup, in this article: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24844743.eustace-blackburn-rovers-ambition-west-brom-links/ I fully agree on your last line. Most of the links have been shite, not a single player I would consider 'too good' for us - shocking take from Eustace.
  15. Look at this line from the latest LET article (the one with Eustace distancing himself from the WBA job); "Obviously, the football club are doing very well at the moment and we are being linked with players coming here who are maybe 'too good' for us. Because we are doing well, that is happening." I'm sorry... what? Have I missed articles linking us to Declan Rice, Nico Williams and Alexander Isak or something? Players we've been linked with this window... Kwame Poku Jeffrey Schlupp Ryan Kent Tyler Bindon Augustus Kargbo Grant Hanley Liam Kitching Mohamed Farsi Who on earth, out of those players, could be considered 'too good' for us?! Ryan fucking Kent I assume? Behave. It's just the usual lowering of expectations. Forget about proper backing, they want us to be buzzing when we sign some cheap, young, inexperienced tosser on loan.
  16. @TommyRovers you hath been summoned!
  17. I feel certain that we're gonna end up with either Andre Gray or Daniel Jebbison - though the latter is probably the least likely of the two due to Bournemouth's injury problems.
  18. There's a (almost certainly BS) rumour on X that Sunderland are "frontrunners" to sign Brittain. It's gonna be painful when someone comes in for Tronstad, it'll probably be a team like Leeds who'll be able to offer him a bumper pay rise.
  19. Probably only gonna get worse... - Siggy will be sold. - Dolan likely to have bidders, so he'll be sold. Then it's also very possible that there'll be interest in the likes of Tronstad, Brittain and Cantwell.
  20. To be fair to the lad, he was the first to break Baker being recalled.
  21. Yup, here's a visual on that squad "depth" but with Garrett added in since I reckon he'll have to stay; What on earth are they waiting for? We're screwed if practically any of those players pick up an injury or illness, especially the likes of Tronstad, Batth or Beck.
  22. What's with the shite loans for our players these days? Duru could easily cut it at League One level, or in the Scottish PL. A League Two loan seems pointless, the only positive being that he'll likely get a good bunch of minutes down there.
  23. Eustace: I'm gonna need a left-sided centre-back with Picks injured - can you sort it guys? Gestede: Sure John we'll loo... Waggott: Leave this one to me Rudy. *Starts a phone call* Gestede: Who you ringing? *Waggott bites a Jam Tart, then winks at Rudy* Waggott: *On the phone* Hello! How're things over at Coventry pet?! Hahaha, anyway - you got any defenders that you don't want by any chance? Have noticed that Liam Kitching lad is hated by your fans, what about him?
  24. From Elliott's Article; - No signings before the Middlesbrough game. - Liam Kitching deal in the balance as he played on the weekend, but would likely be a loan. - Jeffrey Schlupp has plenty of other interest, won't happen anytime soon if at all. - Ryan Kent unlikely. - Grant Hanley not being pursued. Not a single sign of ambition or proper investment.
