  1. Really hope we sign a fast, tricky and effective left-winger in this window - someone like that Ibrahim Cissoko who's on loan at Plymouth would be perfect. He absolutely ripped us up earlier in the season when we played them.
  2. Regarding a CM - one player who's definitely worth a look, who's just returned to his parent Club is Lewis O'br... Actually, nevermind.
  3. Stewart is fit at the moment isn't he? Think he'd be worth looking at for a loan until the end of the season, bagsman when he's fit. As for Poku yes I know, he wouldn't be one for this season - but it's a good time to try and nab him at a cut-price. His contract runs out at the end of the season, and there'll be a queue of Clubs looking to get him on a free transfer.
  4. We have 5 games in the next 3 and a half weeks, whatever moves they're planning (if any) they need to make them fast. We need CB, LW and ST - would also benefit from a CDM and RW. My picks would be something like; CB - Tyler Bindon (Perm) CDM - Toby Collyer (Loan) LW - Martial Godo (Loan) RW - Kwame Poku (Perm) ST - Ross Stewart (Loan)
  5. Wow, ridiculous amount of fixtures! Off-field shenanigans can have a huge impact on results. Hopefully Eustace can keep himself and the lads on their game, when the fools running the show start with their usual slimy transfer window antics.
  6. Good lord... there's literally zero chance that this is even remotely true 😂
  7. Trying to think of a striker we could move for, with a goalscoring record in this league... not many about is there!? Loan move for Ross Stewart maybe? Injury prone springs to mind, could he last till the end of the season if we got him in Jan? Thinking we could look at the Scottish League as an alternative, wouldn't say no to a move for Lawrence Shankland... also see the Duk is at the end of his contract soon. It's possible we could end up with a relatively unproven youngster from the PL on loan. On this criteria Ali Al-Hamadi could be one of the few who's worth a look. Very slim pickings!
  8. Sorry to hear it pal, hope she's alright!
  9. Step forward James Hill!
  10. Not got a great feeling about this one. Think a somewhat dull 0-0 is likely, but equally I keep imagining that Wednesday will edge it - hope i'm wrong (which admittedly, I have been for the last 4 games)!
  11. Good player on his day, however his good performances are very few and far between. He's still young and has time to find some consistency... though even if he did I doubt he'd ever be above Championship level. Not sure on the ins-and-outs of his contract situation, could well be the case that he's getting low-balled... but I was annoyed after reading in Elliott Jackson's article yesterday that "The current expectation is that Dolan will assess his options in the summer and leave on a free transfer". What is the kid expecting? He has 1 good game for every 4 that he's awful... he needs to remember how Rovers gave him a lifeline when he was binned off by Preston. I think he will indeed leave on a free, and like many before him, Dolan will see that the grass isn't always greener.
  12. Fully agree with those last 2 lines - one can dream! On Brereton-Diaz though - If he's going on loan to the Championship, he'll end up at Stoke if he has a say in it. Recall him saying that'd be his dream move when he played for us, despite him having interest from the PL & La Liga.
  13. That Duk from Aberdeen will be a free agent at the end of the season, a player we've had interest in previously, apparently. He's not having the best season this time around, but has had a decent record in previous campaigns. He's still young, quick and won't be on a big wage - would make for a good option IMO. Could probably be picked up on the cheap in January.
  14. With Wharton and Carter out, we definitely need a CB in January - a loan would do for this. Without a doubt we should be looking at James Hill, he's played next to no football this season and was doing fantastic for us before he was recalled last Jan. A loan with an option to buy would be brilliant. We'd then need a winger and a striker. I bet we'll go back in for that Godo from Fulham. Would sooner see us sign Poku permanently, but just can't see that happening. Wouldn't be surprised to see us sign Ryo Germain, but hope we instead/also move for someone with a proven goal record in the Championship - like Oli McBurnie for example.
  15. We've had 3 solid wins on the bounce now, against top opposition - we've also looked the part in doing so. Hull have 7 losses and 3 draws in their last 10 league games, and don't have a manager. It would be the most Blackburn Rovers thing ever, for us to go and get absolutely b.... You know what, i'm not even gonna say it!
  16. Gonna go 0-2 Leeds. They're top of the league and in fantastic form, with bags of quality and pace. Think it'll be similar to the Sheff Utd game. Really hope i'm proven wrong though, obviously! One big positive about Eustace's Rovers, is the fact that we are indeed capable of pulling off surprise results against strong opposition.
  17. Expecting a classic midweek, on the road no-show - we'll play for a draw, but will quickly realise that we need to just heavily focus on damage limitation. A very comfortable 2-0 win for Boro.
  18. Can't see it happening, but good lord I wouldn't say no!
  19. The chances of us signing Poku, are about the same as us signing Doku... Zilch.
  20. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest!
  21. It's currently ~4.15pm in Delhi right now, has there not been an update on this?
  22. I know it's just gonna get kicked down the road again... but does anyone have any idea what time they're supposed to have the hearing? Really hopeful that this goes ahead today, this is the only chance we have of getting these morons out of our Club.
  23. Cardiff away; long journey down, they're playing well, we can't score... we know how this goes. We desperately need a win, but it'll be an absolute no-show. 4-0 Cardiff.
  24. Is McFadzean fit? I'd definitely stick him in if we're playing a back 5. It's easy to sleep on him due to his age and lack of pace... but he brings leadership, organisation and stability to the back line. Was torn between Brittain and Duru at RWB; as much as Duru's pace would be benefit that slow back 3, I think Brittain's deliveries could be essential to getting anything from this game. Would like to see Toth play too, but Eustace just won't will he...
  25. Same as i'd go for! Regarding the 2nd CB option, would opt for Batth over Hyam atm; Not confident one bit though, feel like we'll get turned over again - 2-0 Plymouth.
