  1. Interesting about the winger… is it a new name for the list or previously mentioned?
  2. Glad to see we're getting active in the window, to a degree. Not sure how good (or bad) this Gueye is, read some mixed reviews... however i'll only judge a player after i've seen them play a few games in Blue and White halves. Like Sam Gallagher for example; A bloke who i've seen him play many many times, and I can safely say that he is absolutely, incredibly gash. Finally, he looks to be on his way out - good riddance!
  3. So you’re saying 3 medical tomorrow, then 2 more players later in the week? Drop some names my guy…
  4. Sammie and Gally will both be flogged this upcoming week, and none of the money will be spent until maybe after the hearing, providing it goes well… Buckle in folks, things are gonna get extremely toxic over the next few weeks.
  5. Anyone else got a bad feeling that Ohashi is gonna get hijacked by another Club? Free, low wages, no competition... it all just seems too good to be true.
  6. Good lord... it's worse than I thought.
  7. Tbf, looks an absolute steal at £150k...
  8. English is compulsory in Japanese schools, so I expect he'll be able to do a bit.
  9. Unsure on this Japanese lad, though I suppose there is an exciting 'unknown' element to it at the very least. Some good players have been picked out of the J1 League for the record, to name a few; Kyogo Furuhashi was picked up by Celtic at 26 years old, they paid a hefty £5m or so for him too. His strike rate in the J1 was similar to Yuki Ohashi's, a goal every ~170 minutes or so. Furuhashi has actually gone on to have a better strike rate in the Scottish league for Celtic, than he did in Japan. Kaoru Mitoma was picked up by Brighton at 24 years old, he's practically the definition of 'hidden gem'. Performed well in the J1 League, a goal every 134 minutes. Not much needs to be explained about him, what a signing he's proved to be for just £3m. Koji Miyoshi was signed by Royal Antwerp, before eventually making his way over to Birmingham. Despite them going down last season, he showed his quality and managed to grab 6 goals and 6 assists in his debut Championship season, for a side that got relegated.
  10. I watched a bit of the Nurnberg game and he didn't look bad, though my main observation was that the lad is an absolute unit.
  11. Appreciate you sharing mate. I have a question, if you're able/allowed to answer it of course! You mentioned that we apparently are going to have a transfer budget - am I right to assume that this would be after the court date in August?
  12. 🤣🤣 For the record, I don't think we'll sign him!
  13. Imagine it'll be the classic '2 years with an option' thing
  14. On the other hand, our boy Nicko is now reporting on it... Anyone have access to his patreon?
  15. I'm not even gonna bother looking into this Yuki Ohashi chap, have made this mistake too many times! Once I hear something concrete I may entertain it... but I just can't see these muppets spending ~£1m on someone.
  16. Teams around us continue to strengthen... whilst we're having cheap deals fall through, the usual crap under these negligent piece of shit owners, always nowhere to be seen when it's time to sign off on an incoming player. "The Venky's never fail to sign a cheque"... we've just brought in £29m in player sales, and we have no budget. They won't even give a good, experienced 32 year-old a 2 year deal. The crooks haven't signed a cheque in nearly a year now. It's disgusting what we have to go through as Rovers fans, we were an absolute force once and something that we were all incredibly proud of... something that other Clubs were striving to become. They have well and truly destroyed us. We as fans don't deserve any of this, it shouldn't be like this.
  17. Just downright embarrassing isn't it!? After bringing in north of £29,000,000 from player sales since last summer 😅 On the bright side, is does feel like the beginning of the end for the Venky's.
  18. Come on England! Think there's a very decent chance, that it could in fact come home. Spain have looked like the best team in the tournament from the start, but if we play like we did last night we can definitely beat them. Will be over the moon if we win this, come on lads! Side note: I'm still a little bitter that Wharton hasn't had the chance to show the world what he can do, I genuinely think he could have made a massive difference in some of the games... but it is what it is 🤷‍♂️
  19. Very telling that the 2 players we bought for a fee in the last 12 months, have been promptly moved along... conveniently, right around the time that the next set of instalments will be due.
  20. Confirmation that Semir is gone... wonder who's next?
  21. I often try to think about the view from India, the Venky's POV... Are they even aware of the noise around the Club? Have they enough interest to find out for themselves? If not, does someone keep them up to speed? Does anyone at the Club have the minerals to properly question their decisions, or even to request things of them? I tend to assume they're just cooped up in their palace(s), absolutely living the life, blissfully unaware of the chaos unfolding over here, and possibly even oblivious to their continuously tarnishing reputation. Suhail/Waggott likely constantly kiss their ass whenever they liase with them, which makes sense considering how much they steal a living from them. Has anyone at the Club had the bollocks to suggest that they request an earlier court date? If that's even possible over there. It's just as likely that they know everything, are well in the loop, and aren't shy in telling people to fuck off with their opinions and requests... since they really just don't care about the Club. It's wild, isn't it... What the hell even goes on over there?
