Someone mentioned the other day that more ambitious names would start appearing, should the court case fail or be postponed, as a smokescreen. Since then, we've had fresh links/reports on Stansfield, Matondo, Iversen, Drommel, Baker, Dembele... it's all just absolute bollocks. Whoever said that was bang on. We'll end up with a couple of loans or incredibly cheap deals at best.

If we had proper ambitious owners, we'd sign the following players before the window shuts; Daniel Iversen (£1.6m) Brandon Williams (Free) Yasin Ayari (Loan) Siriki Dembele (£1.2m) Franco Umeh-Chibueze (Loan) Jay Stansfield (£6m) If only eh? The Szmodics sale alone would cover all of that. I dare say, we'd easily make the top-half with signings like that... with play-offs becoming a genuine possibility.

Probably an unpopular opinion, since he's meant to be a little wanker who inhales balloons or something - but i'd love us to go for Brandon Williams. Top player on his day, better than Pickering. I know he's previously been on high wages, but he's earning zilch at the moment! Worth an ask.

About £41m in players sales there, give or take. This summer, we've spent at a push about £1.6m on the likes of Gueye, Ohashi, Doherty and Mafoumbi... and now they're dragging their feet over what is likely a miniscule fee for Ryo Germaine. Any other Club, with income like that, would reinvest at least £15m of it without question. We're using it to pay the bills, because our corrupt piece of shit owners can't (or won't).
