However, with the way the window is shaping up, I find it far more likely that they'll actually be the ones raiding us of our players 😅

Good luck to the lad! I do think there could be a player in there tbh, but it simply hasn't worked out here - it happens sometimes! It normally takes an absolute age for us to finalise deals for incoming players... will that be the case with this outgoing sale? Absolutely not. Outgoings are always wrapped up in no time.

Whilst I don’t think too highly of Eustace as a coach (for now at least), I do feel like he has an eye for a player, and will make the right signings if appropriately backed. Doubt he could do it on the cheap, however.

Jack Rudoni has signed for Coventry... what i'd do for us to have ambitious, proper people at the helm like they have.

John Ruddy at nearly 38 is not a progressive signing at all. He’s as bad as Pears as it is, and continues to decline, the man is rapidly closing in on retirement. In the last year we’ve brought in an absolute shit-tonne from player sales, and more is on the way… we could even end up flogging Leo for around what we paid for him. The squad desperately needs proper investment, not temporary half-assed signings who are below par, like Ruddy.

Recent Income Phillips - £2m Kaminski - £2.5m Ennis - £0.5m A. Wharton - £18m £23m from selling assets since last summer right there... Likely income this summer Raya (sell-on) - £4m Szmodics - £12m Wahlstedt - £1m £17m there too... so that'd be £40m combined. At a normal Club, you could guarantee at least £20m of that would be reinvested into the squad, especially with a squad in the state of ours... But here? No chance... we'll be lucky if they reinvest £5m.
