We're also likely to get another £8m-£12m for Szmodics, plus it's very possible that we'll sell the likes of Gallagher, Travis and Dolan too. There is absolutely no excuse for them to not spend a decent £10m-£15m or so on players... but they don't care, they still won't spend a penny.

Yet, they have the audacity to talk about it being 30 years since we won the PL and will release kits reminiscent of 94/95... while relegation to League One is pretty much nailed on. It's actually quite poetic, in a sense that it will perfectly encapsulate how the Venky's have dismantled everything Jack built. I constantly hope for something to be happy about as a Rovers fan, but always get the opposite. We're very clearly in a managed decline. The Venky's, Suhail, and Waggott are absolute scum. August 20th can't come soon enough - get them out.

Vale will definitely be moved on. He's had opportunities, but failed to impress. He's clearly League One level at best. With Leonard and Telalovic around, and a huge prospect in Tyjon coming through - there simply isn't room for him in the squad anymore... and this is before you consider Gallagher (or his replacement if he's sold), who's actually the first choice before all of the above.

It normally takes an absolute age for us to finalise deals for incoming players... will that be the case with this outgoing sale? Absolutely not. Outgoings are always wrapped up in no time.
