  1. Eee it's getting a bit boring and depressing this window aint it!? We haven't even got all the fake ITK tossers to lighten the mood either 😂
  2. Oh absolutely. Unlike any of our incoming signings, they'd have his departure wrapped up and finalised in less than an hour. Always pisses me off that - we're the best Club on the planet at selling players, then we suddenly become an absolute circus when it comes to incoming signings.
  3. I think this exact same thing every time the chant starts, almost makes me feel sorry for the lad. He's better off leaving to get some regular football, if we're pushing for play-offs he simply isn't of the level required - and Eustace clearly isn't a fan.
  4. I think he just needs to settle in somewhere and he'll rediscover himself. Would be delighted if we brought him in, we should try to sell Buckley to contribute towards something like this... but they won't, because despite how it makes sense, it would cost the overlords a few quid.
  5. There’s been a couple of claims on X that we’re closing in on Ryan Kent. Not from any official reporters or outlets so it’s probably complete bollocks, but perhaps worth a mention on here!
  6. Only 4 weeks of the window left and 4 key players injured... considering how long our lot take to wrap up deals they'd better get moving!
  7. Ideal Window CB - Tyler Bindon (£500k) CM - Lewis O'Brien (Loan) RW - Kwame Poku (£2.5m) LW - Ryan Kent (Free) ST - Tom Cannon (£6m) Realistic Window CB - Grant Hanley (Free) CM - No-one RW - No-one LW - Jeffrey Schlupp (Loan) ST - Tom Bradshaw (£250k)
  8. Tyler Goodhram would be a good permanent signing... however it's very unlikely our lot would pay the £2-4m required for him.
  9. Hedges is a strange case for me. I genuinely believe he has the attributes to be a solid player at this level... but he just isn't.
  10. Saw that Villa are likely to recall Samuel Iling-Junior from his loan at Bologna since he isn't getting enough game time. If we have any ambition, we should be looking to bring him in on loan for the rest of the season.
  11. I'm actually not entirely against the idea of bringing Hanley back as cover - experienced players like him can play a huge part in ending the season well, especially important with play-offs a possibility.
  12. Really hope we sign a fast, tricky and effective left-winger in this window - someone like that Ibrahim Cissoko who's on loan at Plymouth would be perfect. He absolutely ripped us up earlier in the season when we played them.
  13. Regarding a CM - one player who's definitely worth a look, who's just returned to his parent Club is Lewis O'br... Actually, nevermind.
  14. Stewart is fit at the moment isn't he? Think he'd be worth looking at for a loan until the end of the season, bagsman when he's fit. As for Poku yes I know, he wouldn't be one for this season - but it's a good time to try and nab him at a cut-price. His contract runs out at the end of the season, and there'll be a queue of Clubs looking to get him on a free transfer.
  15. We have 5 games in the next 3 and a half weeks, whatever moves they're planning (if any) they need to make them fast. We need CB, LW and ST - would also benefit from a CDM and RW. My picks would be something like; CB - Tyler Bindon (Perm) CDM - Toby Collyer (Loan) LW - Martial Godo (Loan) RW - Kwame Poku (Perm) ST - Ross Stewart (Loan)
  16. Wow, ridiculous amount of fixtures! Off-field shenanigans can have a huge impact on results. Hopefully Eustace can keep himself and the lads on their game, when the fools running the show start with their usual slimy transfer window antics.
  17. Good lord... there's literally zero chance that this is even remotely true 😂
  18. Trying to think of a striker we could move for, with a goalscoring record in this league... not many about is there!? Loan move for Ross Stewart maybe? Injury prone springs to mind, could he last till the end of the season if we got him in Jan? Thinking we could look at the Scottish League as an alternative, wouldn't say no to a move for Lawrence Shankland... also see the Duk is at the end of his contract soon. It's possible we could end up with a relatively unproven youngster from the PL on loan. On this criteria Ali Al-Hamadi could be one of the few who's worth a look. Very slim pickings!
  19. Sorry to hear it pal, hope she's alright!
  20. Step forward James Hill!
  21. Not got a great feeling about this one. Think a somewhat dull 0-0 is likely, but equally I keep imagining that Wednesday will edge it - hope i'm wrong (which admittedly, I have been for the last 4 games)!
  22. Good player on his day, however his good performances are very few and far between. He's still young and has time to find some consistency... though even if he did I doubt he'd ever be above Championship level. Not sure on the ins-and-outs of his contract situation, could well be the case that he's getting low-balled... but I was annoyed after reading in Elliott Jackson's article yesterday that "The current expectation is that Dolan will assess his options in the summer and leave on a free transfer". What is the kid expecting? He has 1 good game for every 4 that he's awful... he needs to remember how Rovers gave him a lifeline when he was binned off by Preston. I think he will indeed leave on a free, and like many before him, Dolan will see that the grass isn't always greener.
  23. Fully agree with those last 2 lines - one can dream! On Brereton-Diaz though - If he's going on loan to the Championship, he'll end up at Stoke if he has a say in it. Recall him saying that'd be his dream move when he played for us, despite him having interest from the PL & La Liga.
  24. That Duk from Aberdeen will be a free agent at the end of the season, a player we've had interest in previously, apparently. He's not having the best season this time around, but has had a decent record in previous campaigns. He's still young, quick and won't be on a big wage - would make for a good option IMO. Could probably be picked up on the cheap in January.
