The trick is to target Suhail specifically, things happen when he’s mentioned - JDT was gone less than a week after mentioning his name in the press, if I remember correctly. As much as I despise Waggott, it all goes through Suhail, he calls the shots. Suhail is deliberately titled below Waggott in the hierarchy too, likely an effort to keep the heat off him and to keep his name out of our mouths. Yup! After selling Isiah Jones for about £4.5m, just two weeks later they're reinvesting the full amount plus an extra third on an upgrade. Cissoko absolutely tore us a new one when we played Plymouth earlier in the season, was the best player on the pitch by a distance - I even remember stating how I wish we had a player like that. Far from a Plymouth reject that lad, would be over the moon if we were to move for him.

Current situation; About 2 weeks ago, we needed a LW and a ST. Now, we need a LB, RB, CM, LW and a ST... is this just pure bad luck? Are Blackburn Rovers cursed from January onwards? No. This is due to fatigue and an extreme lack of quality squad depth. The first XI have been run ragged to get us to the position we're in, they've had to be relied on and have already played a hell of a lot of football this season. Eustace has, quite rightly, been reluctant to rotate the squad, as he can't do so without sacrificing a lot of quality. Eustace and the first XI need help - 11 decent players is never enough for a sustained playoff push. As a result of the owner's negligence, we're now in a position where we can hardly field a squad that could compete in League One.

Oh yeah, we are literally the best in the business at selling players. We could have Todd Cantwell land in America by tonight if a team was after him, he'd even have time to swing by France for a Coffee on his way over (at his own expense of course). Yet, when it comes to us signing a free-agent from a Club nearby, who's happy to sign for £7k a week and a tube of Pringles, it takes absolutely yonks... then collapses.

Fadz to Chesterfield is done - apparently trained today and has been spotted in the clobber here; I wish him well, top professional. Massively contributed to saving our asses last season.

I've mentioned 3 very good loans there that would massively increase our chances of promotion to the Premier League. Most of the Clubs that go up do so by loaning top players from higher up, who they wouldn't be able to afford to sign permanently. 4 months of wage contributions, for a couple of top players, isn't going to spaff away £40m.

He can play on the LW or as a ST, he's exactly what we need; big, strong, quick and hungry to prove himself... they need to make this one happen! The ideal end to this window for me looks something like; LB - Harry Toffolo (Loan) CM - Lewis O'brien (Loan) LW - Thelo Aasgaard (Perm) ST - Jayden Danns (Loan) ST - Richard Kone (Perm) Before anyone says it; I fully agree and acknowledge that this is incredibly unlikely, wishful thinking, never gonna happen under these owners etc. However, this is what a Club in our position should be doing - and what i'd consider to be an ideal bit of business in this window. What we're actually going to end up with, looks nothing like the above.

Oh yeah I definitely wouldn't recommend signing him - but can see him coming on our radar very soon. Everything you mentioned there points to him being available on the cheap, which is the only criteria that matters to our lot.

Malcolm Ebiowei is a player I could see us targeting, had his loan cut short at Oxford a couple of weeks ago since they only started him once. Palace will be keen to get him playing and will probably let us have him with a low wage contribution, Waggott will be all over it. Not sure if he's any good like... probably not considering he was out of favour at Oxford, but you know - cost saving etc.
