With O'brien off the cards I wouldn't mind seeing the Club look at a deal for Massimo Luongo - hardly played this season but was pivotal in Ipswich's promotion last season. *sigh* But they probably won't even bother getting a CM now, will they? 24 hours left of the window… We won’t get O’Brien. We won’t get Mohamed. We won’t get Danns. It seemed like we could maybe salvage the window a little with a good deadline day, the very least they should do after all of the points dropped whilst they did shag all. The quality players linked might have provided a beacon of hope… but nope, if it seems too good to be true it always, always is with Rovers. At best, we might strengthen our bench - whilst those around us have massively strengthened their starting XI. Playoffs seem further and further away each day… buckle up, we’re in for a rollercoaster tomorrow lads!

Danns is quick, direct, strong and hungry to prove his potential - think he’d be a fantastic signing personally. Looks class from what I’ve seen and is well beyond his years. Fetch him in if possible, he’ll probably be worth over £50m in the next 2/3 years this lad.

Not a chance this Egyptian lad comes here. Would love it to happen sure, but there are too many other teams looking for a striker right now who could blow us out of the water financially. He'd want a way higher wage than we’d be willing to offer, and we’d be comfortably outbid in an instant… if we even met the asking price in the first place, that is. Call me negative but I’m not even gonna entertain it in the slightest. The sooner they move on from it the better, as we do actually need a striker.

Last night was a massive example of how important Travis is to us, our midfield was invisible as soon as he went off. It’s very important they get the CM signing right this time, go all out for O’Brien I say and give it a go.

If we’re gonna make 2/3 more signings, you’d hope a couple of them would be wrapped up today or tomorrow, with us having a game on Tuesday. No doubt both will be done on deadline day though (if done at all, that is!).

I've been seeing loads of "Happy Kargbo day" shit on X... Is it just me who isn't excited in the slightest for this signing? Feels very underwhelming, especially given our position and the money brought in. We need proven quality, this seems like more of a shot in the dark. Don't get me wrong, he looks like he has some solid attributes of which we're missing - but it's a gamble, he might absolutely crumble at this level. Really hope there are some more ambitious targets in the pipeline, would make for a pleasant surprise... though this would be very much against the grain, going off the last 4 windows.

Can someone with connections to the Club get Rudy to give them a call and let them know? As much as I don't really care about Swansea, i'd hate to see them go under because of this.

Was literally just posting this! A - Does Travis, as their leader, simply have belief in the lads already at the Club? OR B - Has our fan-favourite, homegrown, likeable captain been told to plant some seeds to lower expectations? Could be either, possibly a bit of both! Though I wouldn't be surprised if it's more towards option B... I just don't trust the board in the slightest, past events have exposed just how shady and amateur these individuals are. 🐍
