  1. 5 players for 3 positions. It’s a very long season, we’re light if anything. Hope we can retain all as well as picking up Barajdi.
  2. A long throw, and a team of tall physical players. Hopefully we can Gueye on the receiving end of a few.
  3. Definitely. I'm really pleased with the physicality that Val seems to be bringing. I've felt we've been a bit soft for a few years now. Miller described Val as "an intense guy who knows what he wants" in his interview on YouTube. I think he's trying to instil a tough no-nonsense attitude into the squad. He's also a bit of a big brick shithouse himself. Definitely wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of him. Really warming to him after that shaky start.
  4. Winners: Ipswich Town Auto: Saints Play Off: Norwich, Sheff Utd, Swansea, Brum Relegated: Wednesday, Charlton, Wrexham Rovers finish: 9th First Manager Change: Wednesday Prem winners: Arsenal Wild Card: Rovers to get into a big brawl at some point this season
  5. Quote from Miller: “I’m super energetic, passionate, maybe a little bit aggressive and I will give absolutely everything to get three points. At the end of the day, you have to go out there, break a few things and do whatever you can to win the game. “I will have a tendency to get forward every time we have possession and I will be up and down that line and doing everything I possibly can for this club. “I’m doing it for myself, but I know that if I play my game and help the team by doing what I do best, I know everything else will follow.” Love the guy already. Not sure if it’s by association with Brett Emerton but I’ve got a feeling he’s going to be a success at Rovers.
  6. Just watched the videos of Millar announcement etc on X. He seems like a character. Built like a brick shit house too. Don’t think he’s going to take any shit. Val’s definitely going for physical power houses.
  7. Gueye will always be an unknown quantity no matter how many times you come up against him 🤣
  8. Haha this is brilliant. Hope they release some highlights.
  9. Can you say this in the Championship games too 🤣
  10. Derby are really getting on my bloody nerves. I had a lot of respect for Eustace, and can’t blame him for leaving the circus, but now he feels like a vindictive ex-wife rinsing us for everything we’re worth in divorce proceedings.
  11. Feeling very encouraged by what I've read on this forum today. Excited for the season now.
  12. 4W and 1D in last 5. Hardly! ah unless you were tempting the universe
  13. Probably. We are completely spineless without those two in midfield.
  14. How sad. Excellent player. Rest in peace Jota.
  15. Happy for Sunderland. It was a fantastic away performance. A proper Eustacing. Cannot stand Coventry. Only Burnley and Preston are ahead of them in my Championship shit list. Awful supporters.
  16. Eurgh. That familiar feeling of soul crushing disappointment once again. When will we have our time in the sun once more? Can’t fault the lads, or Big Val even. Credit to them for turning things around and giving it a good go. I’m taking solace in the fact that I think Sheff Utd comfortably have us beaten in a semi final anyway. What I/we can fault though, is our ownership and leadership. Once again the January window (or lack of) has cost our club success. Venky’s have to leave before we come anywhere near success again. We go again next season. Who knows what’s going to happen this time. One thing I know for certain though, is that through the good times and the bad, I’ll forever be blue and white 🔵⚪️. Onwards we go.
