  2. Looking at the tight fixture-list I am worried about the depth of this squad. Trondstad is putting in shift after shift. Do we have a player that can step in if he gets injured?
  3. The recruitment has overall been poor. But Trondstad is clearly one of the best performers this season. Did not cost us anything.
  4. We seem to keep JDT's press and somewhat three touch offensive passing yet a bit more direct playing
  5. I'm glad Hedges starts against Birmingham ! I expect him to play 60 minutes. Big Club obviously got pyro
  6. I am keen to see whether the more direct pragmatic style fits some of the less performing players better than the demanding style of JDT. Moran, Garrett, Siggy and the some of defenders in particular.
  7. Trondstad is PL-level. McFadz a shrewd signing. Played really well. Hoping he stays fit! Wonder when Fleck is ready.
  8. Failed to omit is something else than forgot to omit. It was widely discussed back then that Phillips and his agent did not want to sign a contract without such a clause. The amount of time it took him to sign a deal with us tells me that it was likely a case of failing to omit. The wording in contracts is always done (at a pro-level) with the aid of lawyers.
  9. can someone post the minutes from this meeting that Glenn has posted on X? Glenn's twitter account is difficult to browse.
  10. it is astonishing that there is such miscommunication between Raos in India and the directors at Ewood park. GB and the rest were sure that they were able to spend a few millions on a permanent transfer after the record sale of Wharton. Venkys eventually called in and said no. Highly unprofessional by Venkys. The Wharton sale seems pushed by Venkys
  11. Understanding the timeline of the recent Duncan- transfer it all points to Pune and Venkys, though. His DOF-role has effectively been reduced to getting freebies and loans.
  12. My understanding is that a permanent fee was agreed up until it was not... and a loan offer was offered late instead
  13. In the post match interview JDT said that one of the signings last played in November, one signing has played 89 (to my memory) minutes in total this season and the rest were young loan players who need to get up to speed... He clearly is not happy
  14. Reading the Athletic-article and LT it is quite evident that that the deal for Duncan McGuire was originally agreed by Waggot and Broughton. Mid-air, and upon clearance, Venkys pulled out. No money from the Wharton sale would be spent on transfers. Scrambling, they instead offered to loan McGuire after managing to sell Ennis for 500-600k. Interestingly the same amount as the loan-fee for McGuire.

  16. Imagine Liverpool blocking Klopp from speaking at a press conference straight after a dissapointing transfer window without any explanation? The media speculation from hundreds of media outlets would be intense and damning. Columns, pundits etc would speculate and put 2 and 2 together. In Rovers' case LET has only briefly mentioned it. I would expect more from LET. LET should critisize and question the owners/Waggot. That would be proper journalism
  17. Viking defender David Brekalo set to sign for Orlando https://www.tv2.no/direkte/0nr51/sportsdognet-live/65bbbd5f3ad0ab67609742be/tv-2-erfarer-enighet-om-brekalosalg
