  1. What we thoroughly lacked last season was a good bench. We basically had Markanday, Jake Garrett and some loanies.
  2. According to Rudy Rovers are now more keen on loaning out talents than keeping them on the bench
  3. Probably due to his good pre-season form. He has bagged three goals
  4. Perhaps Exauce Mafoumbi will have his debut?
  5. interestingly, most comments are from Japan! It will surely open a new market of fans!
  6. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C9mMg3jC6PQ/?igsh=aXFjOXVyNGNuZWZy Anyone seen this gem before? Btw, 46 years back in the 70s was something else!
  7. How will Eustace use Andreas Weimann? Is he able to be the creative player alongside Trondstad?
  8. What happened to Fleck? Lots of talk about him resigning in june..?
  9. Additionally, style of play and playing-chemistry with teammates matter. Even elite players flop in certain teams, yet thrives in others. Difficult to tell before they kick on
  10. How likely is it that the court reaches a a decision in writing on the 20th? Do we know the hearing is only one day?
  11. Jdt said last year that he ended up saying YES to every player presented, because he understood that no player came in. I.e. handgranade
  12. I'm now waiting for Savage's hair to register and the flirting will go to new heights
  13. Spot on! Btw, I love both your profile name and profile picture.
  14. Thin squad with a high likelyhood of JRC, Gallagher, Hedges and others to pick up injuries that will put them on the sideline for months.
  15. What is Rovers Insiders X/twitter handle? link?
  16. I'm working with criminal law in Norway (economic crime) , and I can not remember cases being concluded in writing in one day. More difficult criminal cases takes atleast a few days in court, then usually 1- 4 weeks to write. Two weeks in court takes 5-8 weeks to write (20-50 pages). *I have no idea what kind of hearing this is though* If it is only about the question of letting Venkys fund Rovers one time perhaps it will all be done in a day 🙂 Hopefully Venkys will get a green light to transfer money to Rovers before deadline day.
  17. So there is a court hearing on August 20, but the verdict may well come several days later...!? Judges must typically withdraw, deliberate, and then write the ruling. And how do we know it's only one court day? Or is this a simple hearing with a simple conclusion which judges can write the same? My point is: I'm not entirely confident we will get answers the same day, or that a (hopefully positive) conclusion will come the same day...
  18. Spain playing fantastically well, and a worthy winner of the Euros. All wins! I believe most of Spain's success is down to Spain's tactical DNA. They are playing like they have been doing for a long time on club level, but with more emphasis on forward offensive passes and elite wingers. A coherent squad, high ball winning intensity, high passing accuracy and possession rate yet direct in attack! Flawless.
  19. Which podcast and when? What his role entails Transfer budget this season - is it 0 despite massive incomes ? if so what are this season's aims? Tyjon - clauses in contract akin to Phillips?
  20. What does not add up are the new "Heads of -" positions Rovers have added. Why spend money on additional staff overseeing transfers etc if we have barely anything to spend?
  21. If Rovers receive 20-30 million pounds in transfer fees, to Rovers' English bank account I presume, why would we need any immediate financial backing from India? If Venkys are confident of winning their case they should let some of those funds be reinvested. I am aware that some funds are needed to fund the running costs...but still, up towards 30 million is significant! And who knows what happens to Smzodics What if we did not have a star in Wharton to sell in January?
  22. England has faded completely. Swiss trying hard to win
  23. They want to give viewers a reason to watch the games
  24. It is very unfortunate if the family members (owners) are not pulling in the same direction regarding the direction and ambition of the club. That being said, it probably explains some of the dire running of the club the last decade. Venkys had the perfect oppurtunity to get back to the PL by backing JDT, which they did not. It is also very depressing that the Lancashire Telegraph does not try to use some basic investigative journalism by trying to dig into the various roles at the club and especially owners. When did the owners get interviewed last time by UK press? Suhail, Waggot and the lot are often travelling down to India to visit the owners. LET should be on that plane and get a few interviews
