Yes clearly, it is not entirely fair to compare the two managerial situations. Arteta has spent enormous sums. Though giving some managers time (atleast a 1-3 seasons) has proven wise on many occations (and sometimes obviously not). I remember watching the four year plan' docu where QPR eventually went up to the premiership. A shambles at first, though they managed to succeed with Warnock at the helm. Different time obviously.

A modern, hungry and enthusiastic coach is what Rovers needs. We have got a young squad and a new system. We might not see the best of results and table position this season - though hopefully we will improve on last season's 8th - but having some patience I believe we can do wonders next. The talents at the club will only become better and the transfers over time will suit JDT's style. I might be inspired by watching Arsenal's docuseries All or nothing on Amazon prime where Mikel Arteta is given the time needed. Interestingly Arsenal had the youngest squad last season - much like ours.
