  1. That's helpful for someone living in Bristol.
  2. I think you make a good point. I'd also include GB in that. Transfers are his domain and the fans needed communication about what was going on. Fans have an absolute right to know what is going on when a national releases a financial story that all is not well at the club and transfers have ceased. I'd imagine pressure has been applied on Waggott by GB too.
  3. You were saying this when news came out about the financial problems. You were wrong then as well. It's not about 'knowing everything' it's about the club keeping the fans updated about major issues at the club. Waggott has bowed to pressure because speculation was getting out of hand on here and elsewhere. He kept quiet for too long. He is a poor operator.
  4. A sea change from Waggott. He's been invisible for years, slagged the fans off alongside Mowbray after the 30k Oxford crowd didn't turn up at Ewood again, questioned the size of the club etc Now here we are. He loves and appreciates the fans etc etc He's either realised what an appalling leader he's been or someone's had a word.
  5. Kaminski Rankin-Costello Carter Hyam Pickering Buckley Tronstad Travis Hedges Szmodics Dolan I think he might go 4-3-3 just because there's no-one to play up front. Szmodics will be a bit false 9-ish. Or he'll play Leonard up front and drop Buckley and go back to 4-2-3-1.
  6. I'm sure many more would engage and give up their time if it really did feel like our club.
  7. A lot of hype around the relegated teams and how they're going to walk the league. We'll see.....👀
  8. Was that the game when Tony Finnegan scored from about 30 yards?
  9. A BRFCS podcast with The Don would be amazing @Herbie6590
  10. So, it is true, a quick chat, a gaze into his eyes and even the most cynical Rover is putty in his (probably) beautifully manicured hands. Farewell Herbie. Another soldier lost to the cause😉
  11. What was the vibe you got from him. Is he concerned about the funding saga? Is it a long-term problem? Will there be comms on the issue or is what was said at the FF going to be all we're getting? Is he aware of the poor impression people have of him as CEO, and how detached he is perceived as being? Any thoughts from him on JDT? Or on transfers? I realise it may have only been a quick chat but just wondering if there's anything you can share?👍 A Concerned Fan
  12. That top one is a caption competition if I ever saw one 🙂 That bottom one is like a scene from Love Island, you bunch of stud muffins you 🙂 Looks like a very enjoyable and worthwhile day. I'm sure new friends have been made (and not just you and Stevie 🙂) Great effort by everyone involved.
  13. I think I remember Pat Nevin being very good at Ewood.
  14. Boss pleased with final pre-season test | rovers.co.uk
  15. No LT coverage and no LancLive coverage.
  16. Still Ben Benson doing set-pieces I think. The role was advertised a while ago but not sure anyone's been appointed yet.
  17. Qué coño está haciendo el portero.
  18. No disputing there are good young players at the club, but is that enough to keep JDT happy? I'd imagine he's feeling very let down.
  19. Hopefully he's shared some good news? If there is any.
  20. Has the Lesser Spotted Waggott been seen?
  21. The guy who ended up at Southampton (ex Swansea) was rumoured to be on the wanted list.
  22. Ah right, I just rememebr a story about Gray not rating Sellars. Checked wiki and Gray was manager until '85 so it may well have been BB that sold him to Rovers.
