I appreciate some think JRC is wasted at RB (and he possibly is) but I'm still not convinced by Brittain. He gave the ball away a lot when he came on at Rotherham. He did put a couple of good crosses in but I think overall JRC offers far more attacking threat/quality from RB.

I'm also a bit worried about tomorrow, Hull have some good players as you say. I think the first goal will again be vital and may well dictate the result. I don't think that's just a Rovers thing, it's a Championship thing (I think I saw a stat once that the team who scores first rarely loses....or I've made it up!) I think we 'manage' games really well now when ahead, and are better going forward, so I've no doubt we'll create chances. We just rarely make the most of these chances. I'll go 2-1 also but with a different line-up Pears JRC Carter Hyam Pickering Wharton Travis Szmodics Markanday Gally Dolan. That front 3 is the hardest to predict. It could easily be Hedges Leonard Ennis for example. I don't think anyone in the front 3 is a nailed-on started.

It's the same chap who said the other day 'Rovers are desperate' and couldn't explain why. He said this whilst claiming he was ITK on transfers. He was obviously trying to induce a 'meltdown'. Some people have no sense of irony.

The Championship is a competitive league. Top 2 are probably out of reach for most teams, but the top 6 are in reach for most teams.

Just watched the full match replay on the Rovers site. Not seen it mentioned but Pears attempt to keep out their second goal was truly pathetic. There's a camera angle from behind the play and he looks out of position to start with, doesn't move his feet over to the side of the goal the ball is headed from, and actually pulls way his hand.

I really liked it when I saw the online release. Saw it in the flesh on a few fans last week and it's ridiculously bright, like a yellow highlighter pen on steroids.

He got the same number of goals (8) as Galligol last season. An unexpected hattrick to say the least!
