  1. All of this begs the question, where do we look once weve sold Wharton and Carter without reinvesting on February 1st
  2. Another point whilst I'm on a mini rant and this point is much more general but we are so imbalanced on the wing. If we have Sigurdson constantly cutting in Pickering isn't an overlapping fullback. There's never a chance of doubling up and putting a ball in. If sigurdson could play on the right I think we'd be a much bigger threat.
  3. Hard to categorise these thoughts so will just lay them out Only two pros this half is the ref seems decent and the Huddersfield commentator is a nice listen. I just do not understand how Wharton, sigurdson, Ennis and szmodics fit today. Let alone what Moran is bringing. Sigurdson hangs out on the far left but we've no clear right winger? Ennis seems to be bypassed by Wharton for balls in behind to Szmodics and leaves him to feed of scraps. Beyond that there's an underlying feeling of can't be arsed today.
  4. We've such an inability to play it into our striker and release ourselves of pressure. Has Ennis had a ball into his feet or to chase after yet this game, let alone when we've been up against it and need an outlet
  5. Can see this being a really really dour game of football. Our squad is none existent. Not seen them play all year and checking stats not only can they not create a chance but they can't convert one either. They leak goals but no doubt today they'll have Yorkshire world cup Klose up front today and without Sunday leaguing this thought too much may just 'want it' more. Significant changes would like to see Moran out for a more wide player. Not sure who that is (hope it's not Markanday). For the Christmas cheer give Telalovic a run out too
  6. 9c89ae6b22f50f0ae8608ad3a013bc0d.mp4 If JDT does get tapped up in January this would solve our striker issue too
  7. Scott Wharton is panic inducing at times but fortunately Tronstad as cool as ice. I realise today's a second if not third string team and so not massively surprised we've lacked the experience to see it out. Having a team of recent academy heads will do that. Cash strapped and so filling an experience gap may be challenging in January but there must be some 26yearish old physical league 1 players who could chip in with 7 rating performances.
  8. Not to alarm anyone but I've just seen Sam Gallagher do 3 around the world's without losing control
  9. Sorry to be clear the point wasn't 'our attendance is low and it's justified to close stands/not bothered about selling tickets' rather the opposite. For me we'd have leased 5 coaches rather than 'bought' the one and be having a different school every fortnight at ewood with a shirt to go home with
  10. Unsure if this was posted already
  11. I know we've had 10 men but we were shit before and shit after
  12. Leo's been a bright spark in a very dull afternoon
  13. Wonder what the odds on Travis sending offg are
  14. Would be half tempted to say sodd it and get Garratt and Gilensen on at 60
  15. These Southend commentators don't have a clue. They must not have the internet in Northampton
  16. Might be wrong but are you mixing him up with Trafford. Bazunu is ex city but thought he was at this lot last year after a good spell at I want to say Pompey or Rochdale . Burnley have Trafford also ex city but did well at Bolton
  17. Yeh, sit deep and play on the break with no target man to hold the ball and some honking passed out from the back
  18. Can't quite work it out but seems like Moran is meant to be covering the right with Hill Infront of him? Seem to be playing a weird 4 5 1 when defending so far. Presume to limit space in gaps between defence and midfield but doesn't look natural so far
  19. We don't look 100% on it today to me so far. You'd think the chance at a luxurious coach trip to the coast would have had the lads raring to go
  20. Not the best acronym there. I propose the Szmod/Dolan strike partnership to follow the MSN Barcelona acronym and call them the STDs. Persistent, frustrating and can blow hot and cold
  21. In January if we can afford anyone at all I would be surprised. If we can (do we get Raya money?) Then I think we can only afford one dimensional players. If that's the remit though the dimension needs to be pace for me. We miss an alternate dynamic at times.
