  1. Thanks all. Really appreciated. I agree with all points above. He's a new lad and he's our player so lets get behind him. The highlights weren't great but that pass did look great. Interesting that JDT chose this game and the timing to bring him on. Looking forward to seeing him develop
  2. Anyone see him play yesterday? Wondered what he was like?
  3. "We only got two, I would rather have kept Buckley in the building as well. In my understanding, if Buckley and Jack Vale went away there would be a third option coming in as well. Why this third option didn’t happen, I don’t know. We all know it has been a difficult and very unclear situation for the club and if you talk about finances, we are probably in the relegation zone.” https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23793224.tomasson-doubles-rovers-deadline-day-stance/ Agreed.. his rovers TV interview was lovely. However his interview published in LT above seems interesting. Any ideas where we can hear the full interview? Would like to know what he said with out all the LT edits and comments. He's clearly talking about the lack in transfers again which is important to show his dissatisfaction with the "party line" despite what GB claims
  4. Got a link to the interview? I can only find the article on telegraph. Thanks
  5. Absolutely shocking. Couldn't give a xxxx about our players from day one. Yeah exactly. Any idea where we can see the interview or read the full quotes or is this article all we get? anyone seen this interview with Ryan? https://youtu.be/w38CdVgdphA?feature=shared
  6. Yeh I agree.. I was just surprised by the comment that he was offered a new deal and he chose to publicly say he rejected it. Very transparent
  7. https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/tomasson-contract-venkys-blackburn-rovers-27678684 Will JDT extend his contract with us? What's his future - immediate and long-term-wise? Of course, he was linked with moves away this summer and that never materialised. He told us in pre-season he had turned down offers to stay at the club. Then the India issues left him frustrated and he didn't bite his tongue either. Well well well...
  8. Hahaha. I love to see these kind of interviews. You get to hear what the players have been "told" to convince them to join.
  9. "It is similar to what Bournemouth are trying to implement at the moment – a fast style of play, wanting to build up with the ball and the way we press is very similar as well,” he continued. “We want to win the ball back high up the pitch and don’t mind one-v-one battles towards the back end of the pitch." https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23771816.bournemouth-prospect-james-hill-blackburn-rovers-loan/
  10. Haha. So true Don't think it's worth replying to the genius asking such stupid questions. How can anyone who supports rovers think anything positive about venkys
  11. https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/probe-agency-seizes-9-properties-of-venkateshwara-hatcheries-2430699-2023-09-04
  12. The potential decline of the venkys can only be good for us in the long term.
  13. Keep us posted mate! Great update. Hopefully the chickens will come home to roost
  14. So true. To be fair we are nice like that. Such a charitable club.
  15. Would love to be a fly on the wall!
  16. Case and point. It's a tough one to take. Only time will tell now
  17. He's still here now as he probably won't get compensation if he leaves. He is doing all the right things tho as pointed out above. He is making a noise and being honest. I would rather he stayed too but it's looking unlikely unless they do what they did with TM and just make him run his contract
  18. What else can we do? As fans we are fairly powerless. They've lost a huge fanbase since they took over but hasn't impacted them. We can only get behind the team and support JDT and try and enjoy his style of football
  19. There is hope and there are facts. JDT was clear that telalevic is unknown and inexperienced. Doesn't sound like he's even on JDTs list of suggestions. He's here for JDT to "develop" Hedges let us down with that golden opportunity too
  20. haha good thinking!! hopefully he has bought a house and isnt going anywhere. free transfers can still sign so perhaps he will wait a couple of weeks? wouldnt be surprised if he goes once the first sacking of the league occurs though.. or PL even?
  21. “I was disappointed to (lose) Buckley, I would rather have kept him. “But as I understand it, we needed to get players out before players could come in. We all know it is a stretched squad and John is a good player.” The club were keen to bring in a further signing before the window slammed shut but were unsuccessful in their efforts. “I thought when John went away on loan, we would probably get one more player in,” the boss continued. “It didn’t happen, I don’t know the reason for that. We all know that we need players in some positions and it is a tough league.” says it all really.
  22. Doesn't have to now Buckley and Morton are out of the picture. He is guaranteed games. He can do what he pleases and still get picked
