  1. haha good thinking!! hopefully he has bought a house and isnt going anywhere. free transfers can still sign so perhaps he will wait a couple of weeks? wouldnt be surprised if he goes once the first sacking of the league occurs though.. or PL even?
  2. “I was disappointed to (lose) Buckley, I would rather have kept him. “But as I understand it, we needed to get players out before players could come in. We all know it is a stretched squad and John is a good player.” The club were keen to bring in a further signing before the window slammed shut but were unsuccessful in their efforts. “I thought when John went away on loan, we would probably get one more player in,” the boss continued. “It didn’t happen, I don’t know the reason for that. We all know that we need players in some positions and it is a tough league.” says it all really.
  3. Doesn't have to now Buckley and Morton are out of the picture. He is guaranteed games. He can do what he pleases and still get picked
  4. Our bench does not fill me with confidence. The youth are exciting for the future and for cup games but it's a seriously weak bench.
  5. Haha. Love this. So true! Although I agree strongest 11 out of what we have to field a line up is- Wahlstedt Rankin Costello Carter Hyam Pickering Travis Wharton Moran Szmodics Sigurdsson Ennis
  6. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23760103.blackburn-rovers-sign-james-hill-loan-bournemouth/ He's signed. Think he will be part of the first team this season? Not the experience we need but looks good.. Apparently he's a Bristol lad! The 21-year-old made his Premier League debut against West Ham in the opening weekend of the season, coming on as a second-half substitute. Looks like they rate him enough to give him his PL debut.. "We are really pleased that Bournemouth recognise that our brand of football and training environment were the perfect fit for James to play his football this season.”
  7. This. Also signing a player who then is injured for a prolonged period of time is considered a crock. No offense though! Just he is injured so can't consider him part of the squad yet
  8. Yeh it's the latest I could see. He hasn't played for us yet? Post international seems a long time seeing as it felt like we signed him early on in the window?
  9. Tomasson is keen to further bolster his squad to cope with the physical demands of Championship football after a promising start to the campaign. “I have spoken a lot about the transfer window already and, to be honest, I don’t know exactly what will happen,” he stated. “It sounds crazy that a head coach doesn’t know what will happen but it is the truth, it is unclear. I have hope we can get players in, and hopefully we don’t need to get players out to get others in." https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23759179.blackburn-rovers-boss-adam-wharton-transfer-links/
  10. How come he is still injured? Did we sign a crock? https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23739024.blackburn-rovers-arnor-sigurdsson-road-back-injury/
  11. Anyone got a link to JDT post match interview?
  12. some great pressing and lovely goals
  13. Any reason why they wouldn't? JDT is a class act. Still unsure over his Morton Wharton decision last year and his choice in going for 5 at the back with 10mins to go when we seem to always then fluff it ie fa cup but he's obviously got his reasons and he is doing much better for the club than those silly decisions so I fully support him
  14. ADAM WHARTON…7.5 Continues to shine in the middle of the pitch and made it look effortless at times against the Hornets. Very rarely misplaces a pass and every attack seemed to come through the youngster, who is proving he can be effective in a deeper role Review from yesterday's game. Looks like he should be our main man in cm this season now?
  15. Yeh it was a fabulous team goal and play started from pears. Beautiful Goal!
  16. So true. Also a goal like that given the circumstances and what we need from our "senior" players. Away from home and a clean sheet. It's just joy
  17. Just seen the highlights. What a great goal by hedges! Great team play.
  18. Cheers. Up the rovers. Great win
