  1. JRC admits it can be tough to meet those standards but it brings the best out of the players. "He's very demanding and it can be tough sometimes," he said. "That's what you want from a manager at the end of the day. "He's got the best out of me and it's down to yourself as well. I'd say I've got the best out of myself as well. "It's totally different to Mowbray, he's a great manager and a great coach. He's a perfectionist and he's tried to implement that onto us." Its great to read this stuff. We see JDT as a good and honest coach. Great to read the lads, especially JRC who wasn't in the team a year ago, saying this.
  2. Exactly. I think this year / season is giving him an opportunity. He isn't a Diaz replacement or a dack or a Rhodes but he is one of ours and he's getting a run in the side when he is fit. He will miss chances but he will learn. Glad to see him getting game time.
  3. Loving the optimism lads. I'd take a win too. Think JDT says hill will play CB. Would be great for Leonard to start and ideally score!!!!! Coybs
  4. One thing is for sure. JDT doesn't give cryptic messages. He is clear in his interviews. Got to respect that. He also talks up the fans a lot and gives us recognition which is worth respecting. I think he has good intentions but was sold a lie. He probably has a contract that is t financially viable for him to leave so is just sticking it out and being honest in the meantime.
  5. Cheers I couldn't full screen those so I went to YouTube and saw the sky sports highlights
  6. Jdt mentions the penalty twice LT report Callum Brittain - 7 Did well against the very lively Sterling. Could've earned Rovers a penalty but the referee waved away the strong claim I didn't see it and the highlights don't show it. Was it that bad a decision?
  7. Thanks The Leonard opportunity looks worse than first thought. Especially from the angle. He will learn though
  8. Yeh it's hard to get sarcasm across on here tbf! Ha
  9. Arsenal also wearing yellow playing away from home
  10. Wow. Still no Ennis. Why did we sign him again?
  11. Any word from the Gaffer? Any links?
  12. I trust jdt and agree Sammie should have been subbed but we don't have the depth and you know these lads don't want to come off even if they should
  13. That's appalling. Blimey. football owners should not be allowed to do this
  14. Do we have an available best 11?!
  15. Agreed. We need depth. Amazing that it's end of Oct and most of the summer signings haven't really been playing a lot considering we thought we did business early. The Swansea game shows we have zero depth. This game will just take the mic. I hope they go easy on us
  16. Queens Park Rangers have appointed Hammarby boss Marti Cifuentes as their new head coach. The 41-year-old replaces Gareth Ainsworth who was sacked on Saturday after a sixth straight Championship loss left them 23rd in the table. Spaniard Cifuentes was in charge of the Swedish top-flight side for two years. Perhaps we aren't at risk of losing JDT after all, clubs will just go to the Scandinavian leagues now
  17. Yes me too. Glad it's back at ewood. No more bus stories today!
  18. That list is big! The main memory I have is when Martin Olsson went. Him and his brother were good at rovers. Swansea are a different side to those attacking days of laudraup etc. hopefully a good home win today please boys
  19. Tomasson has confirmed Hyam will 'not be back next week' but wouldn't be more specific on when he might return, though said it would not be before the international break. Scott Wharton is in line to start against Swansea City after doing well at The Den. "Dom is out which is a blow for the team," Tomasson said. "He can play with pain and he'll do that for the club and the fans but he can't play injured." Ah bugger. Oh well. S Wharton did eventually start performing better as he grew in to the game. Hope he is able to be solid at the back tomorrow
