No that wasn’t the point at all that’s a separate issue entirely I agree about failed windows and letting players contracts run down etc but to say attacking wise we didn’t resolve that but yet had a better season as Iv stated was/is irrelevant

There was approx 130 less goals this season than last over the division the top two scorers last season was 27 / 21 this season 19/18 if people want to argue pure black and white we scored 7 less then fine as statistically that is correct but today we didn’t fill that void is wrong - we filled it in other ways other players increasing their goal tally or their assist tally. Defensively improved massively taking the heat off the players up top arguing this point to me is silly because when you do significantly better for me it’s irrelevant

We did 7 goals over the course of a season isn’t much. Was a way bigger spread across the team as opposed to Sammie pretty much alone. Would we want it to be better? Of course who wouldn’t but the team became more balanced hence the higher position and more points

Obviously a lot of guesswork goes into how a season might pan out before it starts if we keep Travis / tronstad / Brittain and add couple more we should have more than enough to be top half again If we lose one or more from that lot then I guess it’s dependant on if they are replaced sufficiently or not but it’s literally the unknown nobody would have predicted that Luton would have been relegated given the squad they had and I see a lot bigging up both Birmingham and Wrexham - personally not sold on Wrexham yet but brum should be decent enough but to reiterate other posters - the contract situation is very alarming and it needs addressed one way or another so we have clarity going forward

Rangers money problems started in 03 he was there from 01 and promoted in 05 and left when the sh!t hit the fan. He then tried to sue rangers a case in which he dropped a year later. He was complicit and aware of the dodgy goings on at rangers given the timeframe he was there as for the Sunderland role I see some saying it’s not his fault the owners didn’t want to part with money….does that remind you of any owners bottom line is this man has a chequered history and not the sort of image/controversial character we need at this already breaking point time

Won’t have that issue here with the 10k cap so we can rule that scenario out
